| Almond Valley Viaduct, Edinburgh EGPH |

File Description:
The Almond Valley Viaduct consists of over 40 stone built arches carrying the Edinburgh-Glasgow Queen Street railway line between Ratho Station and Broxburn. There are actually two sections to this monster. The main sweep consists of at least 35 identical arches (I haven't actually confirmed the number!) which is over farm-land. This is followed by a natural embankment then a final 7 arches, the centre of which is wider than the rest as it crosses the A89 2.5Km West of the the end of RWY 24 at Edinburgh.

| MAAM TBF-1 Avenger S8 |

File Description:
FS-9 repaint of the MAAM TBF-1 Avenger, unit and date unknown. However, the apparent freshly painted markings of the "summer '43" red surround star and over-painted markings suggest summer or fall of 1943, and possibly recently transferred to a new unit or the old unit has been redesignated as evidenced by the painted over "A 7" and a newly painted "S 8." Repaint by Steve Bryant based on the paintkit by Jan Visser, which can be found on the Free Stuff page for the Avenger at www.maam.org.

To get the best results from this update it will be advisable to download the latest Detailed Terrain Features for Southern Africa from Aeroworx (also available in the AVSIM Library - starting with file fsxWorx01.zip).

File Description:
The original XC-69 Prototype "The Beast" was purchased from Howard Hughes for $100,000 in 1950. Lengthened by 18ft 7 Inches, it became the prototype L-1049. Dressed up in special duds, the first flight occurred on 13 October 1950, and the rest is history. With a slightly different paint scheme, this aircraft was used by Lockheed as a test bed for future models, including the PO-2W / WV2. Original Aircraft by Team 1049 (Manfred Jahn, Roland Berger, Volker Boehme, Luis Pallas, Bill Tyne, and Stefan Werner), requires CalClassic L1049G. Repaint by Dan McManus
