USS Langley relocation to Italy

File Description:
These files relocate the USS Langley of the MAAM Avenger package into the waters on either side of Italy. CVL30 is located in the Adriatic Sea near the city of Ancona (LIPY). CVL31 is located in the Tyrrhenian/Mediterranean Sea near Rome. You can install one or both Italy locations of the USS Langley. Your choice.

Apart from it being fun to fly, it gives you an impression of how the real M400 Skycar will look like and behave. Besides all the usual animations you find in an aircraft addon, it contains a wealth of features and animations specific for this M400 Skycar, like: - Automated nacelles, ductvanes and folding wings. - True VTOL operation. - Full VirtualCockpit, with moving sidesticks, throttle lever and all needed instruments/switches to drive/fly this Skycar. This update package presumes the presence of version 1.1 of the Starliner. What does this update do? - New aircraft.cfg and L1649A.air for improved flight dynamics, especially takeoff and landing. - New panel files for modified gauges and basic VC layout. - Three VC texture files - New model file Installation (1) Make a backup copy of your existing "Flight Simulator 9\Lockheed_1649A" folder. (2) Extract the version 1.1a Update files to a separate temporary folder. (3) Copy the files to the required locations, overwriting or adding to the originals. The folder VNConnie1649A has all the necessary files so you should delete the current VNConnie1649A folder first. KCOS - Colorado Springs Municipal Airport/Peterson AFB - Colorado Springs, CO

File Description:
Following the tragic passing of Shelly Johnson, I was contacted by Dakota Smith (Smith Graphics) about upgading Colorado Springs Municipal Airport for the VATSIM Fly-In on November 15, 2008 in Shelly's honor. Dakota did the "afcad" for the airport, packing in as many parking spaces as possible to accomodate the Fly-In attendees. He then sent the file to me and I replaced most of the default buildings and added many more. I adjusted some aprons, added others, added some roads, and static scenery objects. Please note that the "afcad" was designed for the Fly-In and does not provide accurate airline assignments, military parking, etc. As stated above, Dakota packed in as many parking spaces as possible, and assigned many gates to Continental, Shelly's favorite airline. A second "afcad" will be released by Dakota Smith the day after the Fly-In that will have more realistic parking.
