| Lake Hood AI for LHD and Z41 in Anchorage Alaska |

File Description:
This has two float planes doing touch-and-goes on the lake and some planes taking off and landing on Lake Hood Airstrip Z41. This update (20 July 2010) revises the Z41 AI as I discovered that touch-and-goes do not work in FS9 on a runway that is under 4,000 feet, so they have been modified to flights between Z41 and PANC. It is a self contained update that includes the one new building that is modelled specifically for this scenery, plus some minor corrections such as moving a plane from where it is parked on top of a car. You should have already installed my recent post (July 2010) of Lake Hood LHD and the Lake Hood Airstrip Z41.

| Springfields in the US VFR Tour |

File Description:
As a tribute to the animated "Simpsons" TV series, I decided to plan and fly (virtually via FSX) VFR to a Springfield in each state that had one. There are over 40 Springfields in the US with some states having none and some greedy states having multiples. Not counting the multiples, this leaves by my count 33 Springfields. Pretending we have deep pockets and lots of time, we will fly a Cessna 172 to the airports closest to each Springfield in a circuitous route beginning and ending in North Carolina. The flights assume you understand VORs and flying them inbound and outbound as well as utilizing NDBs. The GPS is handy for positional awareness, but using it to get from waypoint to waypoint takes out the fun.

I love old stuff, so here's some vintage (or maybe just plain old) hangers in a variety of sizes and styles. Some have animated doors. All have night lighting and most use multiple LOD (Levels Of Detail) to be more frame-rate friendly.
Version 3+ adds specific compatibility with RWY12, ADE9X, and Sbuilder 2.05. If you have already installed the previous version of this library and are NOT using one of these programs to place scenery objects, you do not need to download and install V3+. V3+ also includes the updated textures from SS_Textures_update_1.zip. Installing V3+ should not affect any scenery made using objects from previous versions.

LSZN Hausen am Albis is one of the "white spots" in the FSX/P3D. This airfield does not exist in the standard scenery of FSX/P3D.

This scenery is designed in a quite detailled way. All important buildings are made new by myself or converted from old FS9-objects from the FS9-scenery of Andreas Aegi.
The suroundings of the airfield are adapted by new landclasses fitting the real situations according to the satellite photos of GOOGLE Earth.
Also the mesh of the airfield is adapted to the real mesh as it is assigned in the charts..
There are Photobackgrounds for FS-standardscenery and the payware-scenery “Switzerland ProXâ€.

One of America's most well-known sights, the Mount Rushmore National Memorial is located at Keystone about 35 miles from Rapid City. The granite sculptures of the heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt were constructed between 1927 and 1941. Visitors can partake in ranger or self-guided tours of the mountain sculpture. Stroll along the presidential trail for an 'up-close' look. The sculptors studio contains some original sketches of the designs for the mountain. This park also contains the Lincoln Borglum Museum and a visitor's information center. East Coast Simulations presents Trenton Mercer Airport Scenery for FSX/P3D! Trenton - Mercer Airport (IATA: TTN, ICAO: KTTN, FAA LID: TTN), sometimes also referred to as Trenton Mercer Airport, is a county-owned, joint civil military, public airport located four miles northwest of Trenton in the West Trenton section of Ewing Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. Formerly known as Mercer County Airport, the airport serves one scheduled airline plus general and corporate aviation. As reported in early 2014, about 325,000 passengers use the airport each year. This detailed scenery includes several custom buildings, a photoreal background for all seasons and custom ground polygons. This is the first release for East Coast Simulations, and more will be coming soon.

| PAMR - Merrill Field - Anchorage, Alaska - Texture Update |

This texture for one of Sidney Schwarz's lights will prevent my Merrill Field scenery from generating blurred textures when you are flying nearby. It all depends on your settings within FS9 so you might never have had that problem, and if you haven't then you don't need this. If you have had that problem, and I did, then you really need this. Sid issued new textures some while ago, but unfortunately it wasn't known that his light was causing the problem until this week, and I never downloaded the new ones. I have also taken this opportunity to provide new AI with minor adjustment to levels for both Merrill and Lake Hood. These go into Scenery/World/Scenery and say yes to over-write.

| Libyan Air Force Dassault Mirage F.1D Model Update |

File Description:
Libyan Air Force Dassault Mirage F.1D Model Update; for my recent AI traffic package; utilizing Nick Black's Mirage F.1 model set. After the original release, there would surely be at least one update, to correct everything I forgot on the first pass. Fortunately, only two additional small model changes are in this package, the welding of a couple more independent parts to the tail and wings to pick up the camo textures more accurately. Additionally, at Frank Safranek's suggestion, I have updated the nav light positions on this model. Everything else is unchanged from the original.
Aircraft by Nick Black, FDE by Mike McIntyre, nav light position change by Frank Safranek, model modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.

| Chelsea Dams on the Gatineau River |

File Description:
The Chelsea Dams are on the Gatineau River, just north of Rockcliffe airfield. I have used the plural as while there is only one dam as such, there is a second generating station just south of the dam; so "it" is more generally called "the Chelsea Dams". The dams mark the point where, if you are flying south down the Gatineau River towards Rockcliffe, you should be either below 1,500 feet or talking to the Ottawa control tower. While not a reporting point as noted in the supplement notes about flying vfr in the Ottawa area the dams are still the natural reporting point when approaching Rockcliffe and announcing landing intentions. Plus they are a visible landmark from way off, so here they are.
