Project Airbus is proud to present the Airbus A319. Contains accurate model with details such as: opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operable control surfaces, flexing wings, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modeled on spoilers and landing gear doors. Model design by Andy Warden and Derek Mayer, flight dynamics by Peter Binamira, base textures by Demetris Themistocleous and Alessandro Savarese, paint by Thomas Eisenbach. This one is B-6197 from Shenzhen Airlines in old colors. Read me and contact data included. Have fun and always happy landings. File Description:
This is a repaint of the Wilco A319 Airbus that comes with the payware Wilco Airbus collection, Vol 1, Deluxe Edition. This repaint is based on the real life US Airways "Panther Air", registration number N717UW. MUST have the Wilco series Airbuses for this livery to work. Livery works with both the FS9 and FSX Wilco series. For this one I had to take some creative liberty. The panther on the sides is not lined up EXACTLY as it appears in real life, due to Wilco's paint kit. I tried to give as close an approximation as I could... I hope you enjoy my second repaint contribution! Comments are welcome.

This follows a request for another one of my AFCAD's to be FSX upgraded. After a little scouting around, I have found an AFCAD conversion tool, and so will be releasing all my FS2004 AFCAD's with an UNSUPPORTED FSX version. It will remain unsupported because I have not actually got FSX, so I can do little to help. However, I will still do my best to help anyone who is truly stuck. Support will be available as soon as I make the move to FSX, which shouldn't be too long...I hope ;-D. File Description:
A Repaint of the much awaited Boeing 777-300ER livery of Philippine Airlines. The Flag Carrier of the Republic of the Philippines. Philippine Airlines announced it is increasing its order for Boeing 777-300ER aircraft by two planes. The airline exercised its purchase rights obtained in March when it ordered two of the twin-jet, long range aircraft. The airline plans to lease two additional 777s from GE Commercial Aviation Services. Philippine is one of Boeing's oldest customers with a present fleet that includes five Boeing 747-400s and three Boeing 737s. The airline is the oldest in Asia, having flown its first flight on March 15, 1941.

File Description:
Here's another Dash-8 especially for the Canadian simmers out there or those who prefer the challenge of simming the Great White North. This is one of several Dash 8-102's flown by Air Inuit, based in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. Air Inuit is wholly owned by the people of Nunavik thorough the Makivik Corporation. This aircraft makes daily evening arrivals into Montreal and departs in the early morning from there to various destinations throughout Quebec. Fuselage textures are 32-bit no mips, all other textures DXT3 (no mips). This is a textures only package; you must have the Dreamwings Design Dash8 Q-100 model available here at AVSIM.

Re-upload - Over the years a large number of plane types were operated by Martinair and among these was one sole Lockheed L-188C Electra II.
In 1968 PH-LLG "Neptunus" was leased from the KLM to Martinair for a certain period of time and flew many hundreds of holiday makers to their sunny destinations.
Eventually it was converted into a freighter and the aircraft flew cargo for various operators.
Finally, on December 23rd 1998 the Electra was registered in the UK as G-FIZU with Atlantic Airlines (Air Atlantique)
This is a repaint only. J.R. Lucariny's Lockheed L-188 Electra is needed to see the result.

File Description:
For those lucky of us who own a SSD drive, Gbytes are a valuable thing.
Fortunately, Real Environment eXtreme does compress the lovely textures that it provides. It uses deflate, a well known lossless compression algorithm. But the algorithm implementation used (probably the one provided by the .Net DeflateStream class) is not that good.
Here is a little tool that recompresses the texture with zlib, a better open source implementation. Remember that it is lossless compression we are talking about so no worry for the quality, the orignial bitmap remains the same.
The gain is about 1.83Gb (from 9.13 to 7.3) for REX SP3 Overdrive.

File Description:
Opened; 1933. Closed; 1980. Built in 1933, it first consisted of 3 sod runways, with a single hangar located in the Northwest corner. It later (around 1960) sported a single paved east-west runway (9/27, 3,500 ft) and two sod strips, with one running parallel to the North of the paved runway. In addition, it had a small office/terminal, a main service hangar, and 3 long T-hangars. It's "golden years" were from 1953-63, when Lake Central Airlines ran DC-3 service connecting Lima to Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh. To view the entire scenery, you'll need two Sidney Schwartz libraries - details in readme.
