This file contains alternative textures for the freeware Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and team. The textures depict the C-47A (cn 10156) PP-VBF in the colours of the Brasilian airline VARIG. I want to thank Manfred Jahn and his team for creating this beautiful model. For this repaint the excellent paintkit by Manfred Jahn and team was used. This repaint was done on request of Tarcizio Simoes da Silva from Montes Claros Brasil. I want to thank him for his support and his patience.

Aircraft from Mike Stone, panel from Hansjoerg Naegele, Jan Visser, Wolfram Beckert and Howard Sodja, sound by Hansjoerg Naegele. Gauges from a lot of brilliant and helpful designers. Homage to my town, scenery built mainly with existing objects, buildings by sintax and few experiments by GMax. It DOES NOT include any airport, but represents some pictures of Legnano town
Informations: Legnano is a town in north of Italy (approx 25 kmt NW Milan, ref coordinates N45 35.98 E8 54.59), reachable from Casorezzo ultralight airport (closest one) or all the near others of Milan area.
Here was done in 1176 the historical fight of the Alliance Lombarda's city-states against Federico Barbarossa German imperator. Legnano is also well known for his metallurgical and textile industries story.

These textures require the payware package by AlphaSim "F-4 Phantom II - Set 2" available at www.alphasim.co.uk. United States Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-4D Phantom II Serial No. 66-8775 of the 366th Tactical Fighter Wing, 480th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Da Nang AB, Vietnam. AKA "The Saint." "The Saint" was the aircraft for Brigadier General Paul C. Watson (then a Colonel) who was the commander of the 366th and was instrumental in mounting the external gun on the USAF Phantom. This effort lead to the naming of the 366th "The Gunfighters."
