Flattens for use at PANC Anchorage, Alaska Airport - for FS2004 only.
While flying into PANC recently, I noticed the water was encroaching on the land near Runways 14 and 6 in a most unrealistic manner. This package provides two flattens which will eliminate that problem. Tested with the default scenery and with the Frame Rate Friendly Studio version of PANC. It has not been tested with any terrain enhancement such as Ultimate Terrain. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very simple installation instructions. No two were alike after their pilots and crews let their imaginations and engineering skills run wild. This package represents two kinds: a generic P-38L racer and, without a doubt, the most famous P-38 Racer of all time: Lefty Gardner's White Lightnin'. Requires the author's P-38L ver. 2.2 (p38tdl22.zip).

Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.

If you find the red reminder messages about Brakes and Overspeed intrusive, this package contains a revised language.dll which will abbreviate these messages. This file modification will ONLY work with the ENGLISH version of Microsoft Flight Simulator FSX and was created in response to several requests. While flying around Egypt you may have encountered another error which shipped with FS2004 - a flower like arrangement of bridges (see screenshots) which are totally out of place. AI Tall Ships sailing on Long Island Sound - A gathering of ten vintage AI Sailing Ships near Fisher's Island, New York. This scenery features incredibly detailed AI Sailing Ships modeled by Ron Jeffers, Pierre de Rotalier and Mike Hill. The project includes a replica of the Pequod - Captain Ahab's whaling ship in the epic novel "Moby Dick". Eight of the ten ships make twice daily trips around Fisher's Island. There is also an animated naval rowboat which makes short demonstration runs daily. With one exception, all required files are included. This scenery has been tested with Ultimate Terrain and the FS2004 default environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple, illustrated instructions. Then sit back, watch the seas come to life and relive a little history. This package works very well with John B.Loney's Elizabeth Airport - 0b8_v1.zip - available here.
