Super VC10 Panel Upgrade Part 3 Download

File Description:
This panel upgrade for David Maltby's Super VC10 incorporates significant major changes. First the Super VC10 has now become a stand alone aircraft within the "DMFS Shared Files" file structure. This allows for many changes that distinguish the Super VC10 from the Standard. Some already present and some ongoing. The main panel is now in widescreen format i.e. "not stretched!" Many hundreds of other changes have also been made some unseen that make significant differences to the performance of the model. For example the Super has a fin tank now modelled along with correct fuel transfer and jettison procedures. The engines have been totally overhauled with new thrust curves so that their performance is as accurate as possible across the power spectrum. A consequence of this is that throttle control is now much more precise. Internal engine sounds have been completely revised and are as close as possible to the sound one would hear from the cockpit. There are in addition numerous new panels that are fully functional such the Oxygen panel. This means that cabin altitude and depressurisation are all potential factors and must be attended to. Though you do have an oxygen mask (so don it if necessary or face the consequences!). There is a tiller for ground manoeuvring. There are just too many changes and additions to list here but they are listed in the documentation. Another important addition is refuelling. Refuelling can only be done from an underwing point. To assist is a dedicated new fuel uplift spreadsheet which incorporates a facsimile of a real Super VC10 load sheet allowing you to change passenger loads etc. Everything is explained in the "Technical and Operational Procedures Manual" pdf file as well as the "VC10 FLYING MANUAL" pdf file which contains all the full checklists not cut down for sim use. With ongoing work the intention is that this will become a "study" simulation. If you do not already have David Maltby's Super VC10 model then download it from here. http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/vickers_vc10.htm Follow his instructions and make sure everything is working as expected before downloading these updates.

Complete Apollo 16 pack for Nassp v3.0 Download

File Description:
This is a COMBINED Descartes Landing site and Descartes Enhancement Pack for the new NASSP (v3.0) and the new ORBITER (021202). It also includes Vinka's updated (for 021202) Generic Spacecraft DLL Module so that the "independent" Lunar EVA implementation would work. It also includes YesRushGen's Apollo 16 scenarios which depict the Apollo 16 mission in various stages during the mission. Everything found in Descartes Landing Site and DEP add-ons are included, along with a new Lunar Rover that has both the CMDR and LMP on board when pressing "V" after the NASSP EVA key is pressed. However, due to an inexplicable bug, I decided not to include the detailed SIMBAY EVA astronaut mesh, because Orbiter kept on crashing whenever I perform EVA on BOTH the LM and the CSM. Furthermore, although the LM now sports the bronze-like coloring of the J-Mission Advanced LMs (from inside the SIVB booster until separation of ascent stage), I had to remove the enhancements like the hanging MESA and the LRV from the Descent Stage because it caused inexplicable Orbiter crashes too. But I hope you like the new LM color which is now consistent during the course of the entire mission (in the DEP add-on, it was still aluminum/grey when docked to the CSM and only turned bronze when undocked). Finally, I added a NAV/ADF beacon to the landing site, so that if you press SHIFT-C and tune to 109.10, then press SHIFT-L, your landing display will show your position with respect to the landing site, provided you are within 500 kilometers.

Doolittle's Raiders North American B-25 Mitchell A/C No. 40-2267 Download

File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2267, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #15. Pilot: Lt. Donald G. Smith, Co-Pilot: Lt. Griffith P. Williams, Navigator/ Bombardier: Lt. Howard A. Sessler, Flight Engineer: Sgt. Edward J. Saylor, Gunner: Lt. Thomas R. White. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. Note the three windows in both port and starboard bulkheads. By revev. Enjoy!

One pilot of the 16 FIS, 51 FIW(LT Russell Brown) was wrong credited with the destruction of one MiG the 8th November; actually this MiG,flew by the Soviet LT Kharitonov of the 72th GIAP landed intact and safely at Antung Airfield. The explosion sighted by Brown was the impact of the drop tanks in the ground.Actually the first kill by the F-80´s full admitted by the soviets was the 11th Nov-1950,by Clyde J. Whaley(16th FIS, 51 FIW):one MiG-15 flew by the pilot Nasonov(KIA)also of the 72th GIAP.The F-80c had also the triste honour to be the first Jet shot-down by one piston fighter; the 19th Jul 1950 one Yak-9D of the KPAFAC(North Korea Air Force)shot-down with his 20mm cannon the F-80C flew by Howard E. The Korean war very costly for the F-80C, 277 F-80C were destroyed, 44 by MiGs(and not 17 as say by the propaganda of the time). Finally, 49-805"Seductive Shirley" was shot down by AAA near Sohung, N. Korea Oct 30, 1951.A ideal plane for flight with the Flight1"Sabre Vs MiG"(Missions and campaign in preparation).

Frankfurt Main Airport (EDDF) v8 - Manual installation Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This major update represents EDDF in the July 2015 timeframe.

This version includes further expansion of the Terminal 3 area now in use as extended apron parking, with new J and K ramps for airline, general aviation and cargo aircraft, new apron night lighting, vehicular traffic/roadways as well as support for 70+ airlines coded for AI traffic. In addition, this update features some brand new taxiways and updated airport navaids including use of the secondary 3.2 degree ILS approach paths for the Northwest runway.
For visual improvements, a new sound wall for the northern perimeter is included along with improvements in landclass to match Orbx FTX Global and inclusion of an optional 200Mb ground photo scenery layer providing even more realism.
Extended compatibility is also provided for P3D and GSX v1.9 (Ground Services for FSX) with the latter providing customized service vehicle parking for each parking position across the whole airport and in some cases, custom GSX pushback operations have been introduced at selected gates. The associated GSX airport .ini file is supplied in this package.
Last of all, more flexibility is delivered. This new scenery now comes supplied with 3 separate .BGL files - the standard .BGL AFCAD file together with the exclusions file ( _CVX) and the separate airport objects file ( _OBJ) so that the airport AFCAD can continue to be updated independently from the airport objects and exclusion files by users wishing to modify the airport layout to their own needs. Default FSX scenery is required.

Please consult the readme and the comprehensive help manual prior to installation and for more information.
