WOP P-51D Jane IV

File Description:
This repaint is for the Wings of Power P-51D. 44-14799 was an Inglewood-built P-51D-10-NA. 'Jane IV' was flown by Lt. Col. Bert W. Marshall of 354 FS, 355 FG, 8 AF from Steeple Morden, U.K. in Nov 1944. This scheme represents 'Jane IV' during late November '44 when Lt. Col. Marshall had to belly land after flak damage whilst leading the 355 FG on mission F.O. 1348A.

It serves the southeastern Connecticut region, including the shoreline localities of Groton, New London, and Mystic.
