| Boeing B-17E 'Frigorífico Reyes' CP-753 (Bolivia) |

File Description:
Frigorífico Reyes(Bolivia) Boeing B-17E CP-753, C/N 41-9210. This ex-bomber was operated in La Paz- Bolivia by one of the largest freight operator the meat trader "Frigorífico Reyes,"for services between the bolivian capital and the ranchs producers.
Crashlanding in San Borja 08/76 was rebuilt a La Paz, still airworthy 12/10/89 with the name "Super Tigre".
Frigorífico Reyes was out of business by 1994 with the died of his owner.
Not less of 22 B-17 were sometimes employed in Bolivia in the 50's to the 80's.

| Douglas C-47B-DK Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya T-518 |

File Description:
Douglas C-47B-DK Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya T-518 C/N 25983, ex- 43-48722.
This plane was delivered in the periode 1961-1965 together with other eight C-47's(Registrations T-514 to T-522).
The Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya take delivery of his firsts two Douglas C-47 in 1947 with the arrived of the T-507(C/N 25268)and 508(C/N 13744).
The FAU operated with a total of 21 C-47's and the last flight was acomplished with the T-514(C/N 20604)the 27 may 1988.Today this plane is preserved at the gate of the Base Aerea No.1 at Montevideo-Carrasco.

| Gloster Meteor F8 RAAF A77-120 77th Squadron |

File Description:
Gloster Meteor F8 A77-120 of the RAAF 77th Squadron deployed at Kimpo Air Base(K-14)in the Korean War.
77th Squadron started the war with a dotation of F-51D Mustangs based at Taegu(K-2)and was requipped
with the Meteor F8 in April 1951. First operational mission was flew the 30th July, 1951.
22th August was a bad day for the Squadron:A77-128 and A77-354 were lost in colission, both pilots
were reported KIA.
The fighters were tasked to flight CAP missions over MiG Alley and the 29th August was reported the
first lost in combat mission:A77-721(Warrant Officer Guthrie ,POW) was shot down by the KPAFAC MiG-15 flew by
Lev K. Shchukin(18 GIAP, 303 IAD), in the same mission A77-616(Squadron Leader Wilson) was heavy damaged by
N. V. Babonin also of the 18 GIAP, 303 IAD.The first MiG kill was obtained the 8th May 1952, one MiG-15 of the
PLAAF shot down by William H.Simmonds and the second and last the 23th March 1953 by George S.Hale ,another
MiG-15 of the PLAAF. This two are the only confirmed victories of the Meteors in the Korean War; no MiGs
were shot down in the sad day 1th December 1951; this day were lost A77-29(Sergent B.Thompson POW)shot down by
Serafim P. Subbotin(176 GIAP, 324 IAD),A77-251(Sergent V.Drummond POW) shot down by Sergei M. Kramarenko(176 GIAP, 324 IAD)
and A-77-949(Sergent E.Armitt KIA)by Sergei F. Vishnyakov(176 GIAP, 324 IAD); also heavy damaged A77-559
(Sergent Bill Middlemiss)by Pavel S. Milaushkin(176 GIAP, 324 IAD).V-VS not confirmed the kills of Flying Officer
B.Gogerly in the A77-17 or the shared between Scannel/THorton and Cadan.Actually not MiGs were lost this day by
the Russians or Chineses Air Forces(KPAFAC,V-VS and PLAAF).The first MiG-15 lost in December 1951 was shot down the
next day by Zane S. Amell(335 FIS, 4 FIW) with his USAF F-86A-5.
After this fiasco Meteors were assigned to ground attack, and A77-120 was lost in one of this missions shot down by
AAA in March, 1952. Pilot Sergent L. Cowper was captured and POW.
32 Meteors and pilots were lost in the Korean War( six were confirmed shot down by MiGs and others 5 possible writen off)
V-VS also confirmed another combat mission the 25th August 1951 and the shot down of two others Meteors flew by
Ronald Mitchell and Reg L. R. Lamb, destroyed by the MiGs of Nikolai V. Sutyagin and Grigorii I. Pulov(boths 17 IAP, 303 IAD),
but that was not confirmed by the RAAF to this day.
And for the results:4836 missions flew, 3700 building destroyed, 1500 Vehicles and two MiG-15.

| USAF Lockheed F-80C FT-805 51th FIW |

File Description:
Lockheed F-80C-10-LO Shooting Star USAF FT-805,C/N 49-805 "Seductive Shirley", operated by the 51th FIW, 25th FIS based at Kimpo Air Base in December 1950 at the Korean War.
51th FIW was tasked to adquired Air Superiority in the combat area,but had great problems with the aparition in combat of the superior MiG-15, after the 1th November 1950.
One pilot of the 16 FIS, 51 FIW(LT Russell Brown) was wrong credited with the destruction of one MiG the 8th November; actually this MiG,flew by the Soviet LT Kharitonov of the 72th GIAP landed intact and safely at Antung Airfield.The explosion sighted by Brown was the impact of the drop tanks in the ground.Actually the first kill by the F-80´s full admitted
by the soviets was the 11th Nov-1950,by Clyde J. Whaley(16th FIS, 51 FIW):one MiG-15 flew by the pilot Nasonov(KIA)also of the 72th GIAP.The F-80c had also the triste honour to be the first Jet shot-down by one piston fighter; the 19th Jul 1950 one Yak-9D of the KPAFAC(North Korea Air Force)shot-down with his 20mm cannon the F-80C flew by Howard E. Odell(MIA)of the 36 FBS.
The Korean war very costly for the F-80C, 277 F-80C were destroyed, 44 by MiGs(and not 17 as say by the propaganda of the time).Finally, 49-805"Seductive Shirley" was shot down by AAA near Sohung, N. Korea Oct 30, 1951.A ideal plane for flight with the Flight1"Sabre Vs MiG"(Missions and
campaign in preparation).

Air File for my MiG-15bis series repaint ,model original Chris Lampard.
Corrected in this file are some important parameters for the MiG-15bis
series powered with VK-1A engines first delivered to the China stationed
units in the middle of May 1951.
Aerodynamics ,clim rate speed, stall speed, skin and drag friction coefficient,
engine efficiency, weight parameters,etc are now corrected.
Corrected also weapons parameters for the new installed cannon NR-23
and the N-37.You have now a more realistic destruction power, fire rate, speed,etc.

Air File for my MiG-15 series repaint ,model original Chris Lampard.
Corrected in this file are some important parameters for the early MiG-15
series powered with RD-45 engines. Clim speed, stall speed, skin and
drag friction coefficient, engine efficiency, weight parameters,etc.
You can now fight with the MiG-15 in the more realistic altitudes of 30.000-
45.000 ft.
Corrected also weapons parameters for the NS-23 and N-37 cannon.You have now
a more realistic destruction power, fire rate, speed,etc.

| North Korea Air Force MiG-15bis No.976 |

File Description:
KPAFAC(North Korea Air Force)MiG-15bis No.976 of the 351 IAP, 153th IAD operated
by the Lt. Iskhangaliyev at Antung Air base, October 1952.The first 16 MiG-15bis
builded by the Novosibirsk Factory No.13 were delivered to the China based units the
19-05-51.The 176th IAP was the first recipient with 3 and the others 13 were assigned
to the crack unit 196th IAP.
