This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B-45-DK c/n 17033 (USAF 45-1030) B-829 of Air America, between 1958 and 1970. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

Our flights begin at Hoonah, AK and finish up at historical Skagway. The aircraft used are: DHC-2 Beaver Amphibian, Republic Seabee, Waco float bi-plane, Bearhawk float, Cessna 185 float, Cessna 206 II amphibian, Bellanca Scout float, DHC-6 Amphibian, Lake Renegade 250, Bell 47J2 helo floats. Plan-G data files for Orbx/North America Sceneries in terms of following FSX Orbx payware Sceneries:
-Pacific North West (PNW)
-Pacific Fjords (PFJ)
-Northern Rocky Mountains (NRM)
-Central Rocky Mountains (CRM).
My PlanG data displays spots of all objects which are provided with the above mentioned software (Points of interest like unlisted airfields, dams, windfarms, firetowers, etc.) and which are not inserted automatically into PlanG during database re-built.
Pick the data that applys to your particular installation and import them into PlanG.

File Description:
Re-upload. Air America, the secret airline operated by the CIA during the Vietnam War graces the famous Lockheed L-1011 during the late 80's. Whether this airline had any connections to the infamous Air America of the war era I do not know nor have I been able to gather any information on it. The livery looks good on Mike Stone's model. The wings, pylon, and engine textures are completely new to this model and better represent the look of the real aircraft. All textures contain a mix of 32 bit 888-8 and DXT3 formats, to insure clarity without loss of frame rates plus custom alphas for realistic reflections. I recommend using the REAL Rolls Royce RB211 soundset from Skysong Soundworks and any L1011 panel by Ken Mitchell which are both available on Avsim. Enjoy !!!
