| Republic P-47D-20 365th FG (B4-W) "Mortician's Delight" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-5-RE 42-8438 B4-W "Morticians Delight", one of the P-47's flown by Lt Neal Worley of the 387th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Worley's first two P-47's were called 'Kansas Jack', referring to his Emporia, Kansas upbringing, but he did not feel like naming his third aircraft. His crew came up with 'Morticians Delight', and Worley himself painted the picture on the engine cowling. In 127 missions, he crashed 5 Thunderbolts. His coolness under pressure was immortilized on July 26th, 1944. A 20 mm shell hit his right wheel well during an attack on Sauveur Lendelin, jamming the wheel. He discovered that only the left wheel would lower, but would not retract, so bellying in was no longer an option. He circled for over an hour, burning fuel, and then landed on only the left gear, easing the fighter down. When the right wing dipped just enough, he hit the left brake, and the P-47 spun to a stop. His landing was captured on film, and used in the movie "Fighter Squadron". The aircraft was repaired, and flew missions the very next day, as a testament to the ruggedness of the Thunderbolt. Tongass Remote Airfield is for Flight Simulator 2004 and for the "Tongass Fjords" (FS9) addon by Holger Sandmann & Bill Womack . You must have "Tongass Fjords" (FS9) for this to work.
Field history and description:
In the early days this area was well known to prospectors and hunters. A small mine was established and later abandoned. Around the late 40���¢��������s a crew was contracted to clear a small landing area to gain easier access for hunters and campers. Due to the extreme remoteness of this area that clearing took several years. The last phase was the approach, clearing by hand a descending glide slope through just the tops of the tall trees. There is now just enough room for a very experienced pilot to get in and out of this field. The airfield is 26 miles north of Petersburg Alaska (PAPG). This is a tricky narrow approach with a left hand dogleg and then an immediate right hand dogleg turn just before the final approach. Not much time to set up your approach, also, it's a very short runway. For experienced pilots only, and make sure that your life insurance is up to date. See enclosed Maps and info. Good luck.

This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47.

This paint depicts (more or less,within the limitations of the model and its painter) the C47-D ,118527 "Jiminy Cricket "
Historical Note:
"Jiminy Cricket" is depicted as it flew for the Sicily operation in improvised night camouflage.
It was one of the original 52 C-47s that deployed to Egypt with the 316thTCG in December 1942.
"Jiminy Cricket" was one of the first from the 316th Sq.
ATC, to visit Project 19, delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt
engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily,
where, the pilot, Sgt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK.
The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments
except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but
the moon and the sticking standby compass. Jiminy Cricket was repaired and
served through May 1, 1947, then was "salvaged"
The skin-set includes cockpit- and (freighter-) cabin textures as well.
Passenger-seats, luggage-racks ,airco etc.removed from the plane.( its a freighter now !!)

The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of ist development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft. The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. MEGA Maldives Airlines has introduced a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet as part of its fleet modernization drive.The aircraft is just over 4 years old with 12 business class seats and 156 economy class seats with the latest Boeing Sky interior and new extra fuel saving “split scimitar†winglets. It is part of an overall strategy for the airline to update and re-structure its fleet over the next year. The aircraft will support MEGA’s plans for increased connectivity between the Maldives and short to medium range markets. This includes India and Sri Lanka, with new routes starting within the 4th quarter. MEGA also plans to restart its Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah routes, although these routes will operate primarily on larger 767 aircraft in MEGA’s existing fleet. he new B737 aircraft is wet-leased from Czech operator Travel Services, but will fly in the MEGA Maldives Airlines colours and livery and MEGA Maldives cabin crew will service the flight onboard. This is the third time MEGA has wet-leased an aircraft from Travel Services. Furthermore, in support of the national drive to increase tourism, the aircraft also sports the “Maldives – sunny side of life†logo prominently. This is a repaint of the great ISDT ATR 42-300 V2 in the Fictional livery of the real world airline Hawaiian Air. Hawaiian Air has been providing services to the islands of Hawai since 1929 in one form or another and is still a well patronized airline. The plane has been tested in FS9 ONLY and works well. Should you wish to try installing this plane (made for FS9) into FSX, you do so at your own risk. The package comes complete with a custom panel by Antonio Bucoli which provides the needed gauges and sounds for this plane. Both the Gauge and Sound files are included together with install instructions. The panel is already apart of the plane. Installation, Distribution Limitations and my contact can be found in the ReadMe File. Be aware that there are 3 ReadMe files and ALL of them should be read. Please note, if you look at the attahed pictures and see the nose doors are white, do not fret - they are actually the blue of the fuselage in the textures.

iFDG is proud to present the Airbus A320. The aircraft model includes most of the standard features including animated control surfaces, wingviews, flaps, full lighting configuration, and highly detailed, reflective textures. "The A320 was launched on March 2, 1984. It is the first subsonic commercial aircraft with fly-by-wire controls. First flight took place on February 22, 1987. The A320-100 was the initial version and was superseded by the A320-200 from the third quarter of 1988. The A320-200 differs from the A320-100 in having wingtip fences, a wing center-section fuel tank, and a higher MTOW. This package features ZK-OJF, A brand new A320-232 of Air New Zealand. v1.1 removes the small green line under the port wing(left accidentally), adds the effects folder for those who don't have it and corrects the sound folder name so the sounds will work correctly without editing. This is a full package rather than just an update as I thought that would be more convenient and less confusing for the majority of users.

One of the most completed packs ever uploaded for FS. Full combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, this "Aegean Ghost" repaint, is representing an F-16C Blok 50 in service of 341st Squadron of Hellenic Air Force. The fantastic model and realistic "metal looking" textures are made by Kirk Olson. The package contains realistic sounds made by Angelos Hatzikatakos. A new panel was made by Nick Karatzides who also modified the official checklist (by Lockheed Matrin Ltd.) for FS purposes and also wrote and a VERY completed flight manual (47 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. The panel uses realistic radar & HUD gauges combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, made by Eric Marciano. This "F-16C_HAF_v2.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the controls and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying...It is for people who want to know how it looks to fly with a modern fighter. The package contains visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.
