This paint depicts (more or less,within the limitations of the model and its painter) the C47-D ,118527 "Jiminy Cricket "
Historical Note:
"Jiminy Cricket" is depicted as it flew for the Sicily operation in improvised night camouflage.
It was one of the original 52 C-47s that deployed to Egypt with the 316thTCG in December 1942.
"Jiminy Cricket" was one of the first from the 316th Sq.
ATC, to visit Project 19, delivering worn out parts and returning rebuilt
engines to the RAF. It eventually took part in the invasion of Sicily,
where, the pilot, Sgt. George Quisenberry received wounds from German FLAK.
The shell destroyed the nose of the Aircraft, knocking out all instruments
except the stand by compass. Jiminy carried the crew back with nothing but
the moon and the sticking standby compass. Jiminy Cricket was repaired and
served through May 1, 1947, then was "salvaged"
The skin-set includes cockpit- and (freighter-) cabin textures as well.
Passenger-seats, luggage-racks ,airco etc.removed from the plane.( its a freighter now !!)

MEGA Maldives Airlines has introduced a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet as part of its fleet modernization drive.The aircraft is just over 4 years old with 12 business class seats and 156 economy class seats with the latest Boeing Sky interior and new extra fuel saving “split scimitar†winglets. It is part of an overall strategy for the airline to update and re-structure its fleet over the next year. The aircraft will support MEGA’s plans for increased connectivity between the Maldives and short to medium range markets. This includes India and Sri Lanka, with new routes starting within the 4th quarter. MEGA also plans to restart its Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah routes, although these routes will operate primarily on larger 767 aircraft in MEGA’s existing fleet. he new B737 aircraft is wet-leased from Czech operator Travel Services, but will fly in the MEGA Maldives Airlines colours and livery and MEGA Maldives cabin crew will service the flight onboard. This is the third time MEGA has wet-leased an aircraft from Travel Services. Furthermore, in support of the national drive to increase tourism, the aircraft also sports the “Maldives – sunny side of life†logo prominently. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of #44-14111 PE-X "StrawBoss 2", which was flown by Col. James D Mayden of the 328 Fighter Squadron/352nd FG. Born in 1912, Mayden graduated from Kansas State College in 1935. He did his primary and advanced training in Randolph/Kelly Texas and went on to fly P-26's, P-36's, P-39's along with P-40's stateside before flying P-51's overseas.
His first kill occured on November 2nd 1944, and by the end of the war, he had 2 air victories to go with 4 ground kills. Both confirmed air kills were ME-109's. Mayden's wartime decorations included an Air Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Croix De Guerre. He also commanded the 352nd FG from July 1944 to September 1945.
The Colonel's first P-51, a B model was named "StrawBoss", a nickname said to be given to him by his dad. After a gear-up landing accident, StrawBoss was replaced with a fresh P-51D. While the left side of the new mount wore "StrawBoss 2", the right side was painted "Little Sandra", named after crew chief S/Sgt Hubert Robling's daughter.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-5-RE 42-8438 B4-W "Morticians Delight", one of the P-47's flown by Lt Neal Worley of the 387th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Worley's first two P-47's were called 'Kansas Jack', referring to his Emporia, Kansas upbringing, but he did not feel like naming his third aircraft. His crew came up with 'Morticians Delight', and Worley himself painted the picture on the engine cowling. In 127 missions, he crashed 5 Thunderbolts. His coolness under pressure was immortilized on July 26th, 1944. A 20 mm shell hit his right wheel well during an attack on Sauveur Lendelin, jamming the wheel. He discovered that only the left wheel would lower, but would not retract, so bellying in was no longer an option. He circled for over an hour, burning fuel, and then landed on only the left gear, easing the fighter down. When the right wing dipped just enough, he hit the left brake, and the P-47 spun to a stop. His landing was captured on film, and used in the movie "Fighter Squadron". The aircraft was repaired, and flew missions the very next day, as a testament to the ruggedness of the Thunderbolt. The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of ist development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft. The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. Designed to be a competitor to the Boeing 777-200, Airbus Industries has out done itself creating a beautiful and fuel efficient flying machine capable of delivering passengers in safety and comfort well into the 21st Century and possibly beyond. Included in this package you will find the Airbus House scheme (With and without SATCOM), Air Canada, Cathay Pacific and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS - with SATCOM) liveries. All textures have been modified in DXT-3 format for crisp visuals without comprimising frame rates. Includes the FS-X default Airbus A321 panel (due to no A330 panel available for FS-X to date). This model has no Virtual Coclpit (VC) and is meant to fly using the 2-D panel only! Sounds have been alised to the default A321, however I recommend the excellent Rolls Royce Trent 700 sound package (file name:rrtrent700v3.zip located at AVSIM.com) for this aircraft. File Description:
I am very proud to present this, the first aircraft to wear the absolutely beautiful new Air India livery. It is a new Boeing 777-237LR, registration VT-ALA, to be delivered to Air India from Boeing in April or May of 2007. This B777-237LR is also to be the first bearing an Indian state name. The state name 'Andhra Pradesh' appears on the fuselage just below the red cheat line. Air India is one of 2 national flag carrier airlines of India. With the forthcoming merger of Air India and Indian Airlines in 2007, India's two national flag carriers will become one.
Many of the logos on this aircraft are hand painted. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible. The fuselage, engine and tail textures in this repaint are 32-bit. This is a complete install; MelJet B777-200 model and air files included. Uses default 777 panel and sounds. I hope you enjoy flying this as much as I enjoyed painting it.

LAN Airlines, S.A. was formerly known as LAN Chile and is based Santiago, Chile with its main hub at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCEL) in Santiago. It also operates hubs in Lima, Peru Buenos Aires, Argentina Miami, Florida USA and Quito and Guayaquil Ecuador. LAN Airlines comprises LAN Chile, LAN Argentina, LAN Peru, LAN Ecuador and LAN Express.
I delayed the release of this aircraft after seeing the recent release by Dave Wilkins of high-quality LAN Airlines AI Aircraft using the EvolveAI models. After downloading and installing them myself, I thought it would be a nice complement if the colors of this A320 matched the colors of David's LAN Airlines AI A320's, A319's and A318. I think the result is quite nice and hope you agree.
This full installation package includes the Project Airbus A320 IAE V2 model and air files, a modified FDE (with permission from Peter Binamira of Project Airbus), A320 lighting enhancements and 32-bit textures. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Install.txt for installation details.

This TCAS and Traffic Display Gauge Version 1.0 has been developed for the FSX Flight Simulator SP1/2. It should also work with Acceleration. The functionality for the TCAS part is based on general specs for commercial aircrafts. It does not provide in detail the function for a specific aircraft model. It is a generic gauge, and can be simply added to any aircraft as a standalone pop-up window.
In addition the gauge provides a AI traffic display in the ranges of 10,20, and 40 miles.
Within this display mode, no TCAS rules are valid, which means all AI aircraft are displayed independent of any altitude or distance.
