This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-21 42-25569 4K-R 'The Blond Angel', the aircraft flown by Major Hal Shook, the C.O. of the 506th FS/404th FG. He finished the war with 105 combat flights. When the 404th first converted to P-47's, it received a number of brand new bare metal 22 models, but also a number of older C and D models, in OD paint. It was decided to concentrate those in one squadron and flipped a coin for the squadron. maj. Shook lost and consequently, the 506th FS started the war with the older, camouflaged aircraft and only received newer models later. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-27910 #40 "Hun Hunter XIV", as flown by Lt.Col Gilbert O. Wynand Jr, the CO of the 65th FS/ 57th FG, based in Alto, Corsica. He was more or less responsible for converting the P-47 from a high-altitude fighter to a very efficient ground attack aircraft, which was used to great effect during operation Strangle, where the German supply lines in Italy were completly cut off by destroying all railways, bridges and roads leading to the front in middle Italy. The light toggles are now available on the panel. The Taxi light moves in concert with the wheel
steering. Panel from a Chuck Dome public domain original.This one is in the markings of Lt Michael
Orick's plane of the 59th Squadron 'Saabertooths'. Sound from the default Learjet but sound pack
recommendations in the readme file. Original MDL and Air file by M. D. Anderle from his X-32.

This aircraft is in the scheme of Lt Michael Orick, callsign 'ORCA'.
It is armed for air combat duties with a mixture of long and meduim range missiles comprising of :

4 AAM 9X Sidewinder 4 missiles.

File Description:
The Dassault-Mirage F-1 was developed to address the shortcomings of the Mirage III, especially the shortcomings in handling. The F-1 CZ is the fighter-striker version of the F-1. Two paint schemes are provided; the first is the camouflage version of 3 Squadron of the South African Air Force during the late 1970’s and the second the low visibility gray used by the same squadron during the 1990’s. This aircraft features full animation (control surfaces, spoilers, landing gear & canopy), a dynamic virtual cockpit, checklist and full lighting effects. A custom-designed photo-realistic panel (with xml-gauges) is also included. If you would like to fly a supersonic fighter, this it it – this jet can really reach Mach 1.2 at sea level and Mach 2.2 at high altitude.

Fsx Air Flamenco Britten-Norman Bn-2A Mk III Trislander Textures.
Air Flamenco is a small fleet based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which connects the main island with the smaller ones of Vieques and Culebra. They may occasionally fly to the US and British Virgin Islands. There are nine BN-2, three Shorts and a Trislander active to this date.
This texture for Air Flamenco Trislander N920GD completes my previous Air Flamenco fleet available on Flightsim.com and Avsim (air_flamenco_fleet_2021.zip). Requires Michael Pearson's base model mpai_bn2am3_trislander_traffic.zip, available on Avsim.
The model should be compatible with FSX up to P3Dv3. Please refer to modeler's documentation.
I've also added flight plans based on Flightradar24's and other websites. They are not 100% accurate but should provide an idea of the recent traffic.

Here's another one for you guys. Im uploading these soundsets like rapid fire. The PW2000 is a medium range power plant that powers the 757-200, 757-300, and that awesome hunk of metal known as the C-17 Globemaster III. Technically this would be V2 of the PW2000 but I dont like to give my sets versions. Every time I go to revamp a soundset I basically tear it apart and rebuild it from scratch. I have a feeling you all will enjoy this set. ALOT. All files are recorded off of 757 aircraft in 22.050kHz Stereo for optimal quality. Files have also been compressed to Microsoft APCDM format to reduce size. Recommended for use with 757s from Project Opensky, IFDG, Captain Sim, and the FSD C-17. Please Enjoy

File Description:
Repaint for the A2A B-17G in the colors of B-17G-40-VE 42-98021, which was given to the RAF in the summer of 1944. 42-98021 became Fortress III HB791 of the Coastal Command's 220 Squadron. It was assigned call letters ZZ-T and flew out of Lagens, Azores for coastal patrols and a bit of sub hunting. Was normally equipped with 12 400lb bombs or 16 250lb depth charges. The cheek guns were removed and the ball turret was replaced with radar, like a 8th AF pathfinder. It was transferred to the 521 Squadron in 31 Aug 1945, where it became the last B-17 used by the RAF before being Struck Off Charge and sold to International Alloys on 11 March 1947.

Anagni Frosinone Italy N41.44.33 E13.09.42 It is known as the city of the Popes, for having given birth to four popes (Innocent III, Alexander IV, Gregory IX and Boniface VIII) and for being a long residence and papal seat. In particular, the name of Anagni is linked to the events of Pope Boniface VIII and the episode known as the "slap of Anagni", the legend attributes to Sciarra Colonna the act of slapping Pope Bonifacio VIII one of the conclusive acts of the serious conflict between the Pope and the king of France Philip IV, called "the Beautiful".Important VFR point for approaching airport Frosinone.
