| P47D 368th FG/ 395th FS A7-G "Wild Bette" |
|
File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RA 42-26130 "Wild Bette", an aircraft of the 395th FS/368th FG, flown by Lt Richard Kik. He named his aircraft on the left hand side "Wild Bette", after his girlfriend. The name on the right hand side came from his crew chief, Sgt Mohn, since Kik often attacked targets relentlessly with disregard to anti-aircraft fire. In one 395th FS narrative is written "Lt Kik refuses to come back with any ammo". More on Lt Kik and his exploits can be found on the 368th FG website: http://www.368thfightergroup.com/395-kik-rife.html. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney

| Douglas DC-2 American Airlines Aircraft/Panel |
|
File Description:
From the brilliant original of Jan Visser comes this mild repaint of his DC-2 in American Airlines livery. It is the companion aircraft to Ernest K. Gann's AM 21 flight plan (am21ekg.zip). Contains total surround panel package, including wing views by Robert and Daniel Fall; Ben Wang's AAL 1930s cabin converted to DC-2 by James Underwood (with 30s celebs), pilot's side views and a vintage panel photographed by Joseph Rhensius, Propfreak Productions. Also has authentic Douglas yoke by Mike of AirNikon. Uses Sperry Mark III by Arne Bartels, but also has pop-up default radios and GPS for the lazy. Panel uses ADF only, in keeping with the period, and features gauges by James Undrwood, Ernie Kennedy and Kevin Trinkle. Flies beautifully, with great FPS.

| Boeing C-17 Volume 1 |
|
File Description:
These Liveries were originally created by Nathan Havercroft for the payware Alphasim C-17a FSX version. Each DDS file has been resized to 1024x1024, vertically flipped to be correctly oriented for FS9, and saved as an extended BMP in DXT3 format. These files are for use in Flight Simulator 2004 v9.0 or v9.1, and all credits go to Nathan Havercroft for the repaints and to Alphasim for the paintkit and original textures. Included are all the C-17 textures Nathan has created as of July 5, 2010, but does not include the March "Plain" collection that Nathan did, which has all of the "plain" C-17's based at March.. this may be converted and uploaded in the future as time permits. The payware Alphasim C-17 Globemaster III is required to use these textures.

File Description:
Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney: Supermarine Spitfire IIa P7346 PR-M was the aircraft flown by Belgian ace Jean Offenberg, while flying with 609 squadron from Biggin Hill. He shot down his first aircraft, a Dornier during the German attack on Belgium, and later managed to escape via Corsica and North Africa to England, where he joined the RAF. While on a lone 'training mission' near Cherbourg, he shoots down three aircraft, which earns him the DFC. He later joins 609 Squadron, where a Belgian flight is being formed. Jean Offenberg is killed during a training accident on 22 january 1942, when a Spitfire from another squadron performs a mock attack and collides with him.
