Silverstone Update

File Description:
Sorry guys ... due to an unrecognized (by me) compatability issue between FS2002 and FS2004, a couple of the texture files should have been partially transparent. This gave a "blue curtain" effect in front of some of the covered stands which I'd taken to represent either windows or netting. Having now checked the original scenery in FS2002, I realise that this was not the case, so please replace the original texture files with these, which have an alpha channel to provide the appropriate transparency.

Even More Private Strips

File Description:
Even more 'Private Strips' from around England and Wales. When combined with my previous "Private Strips Revisited" upload these will give a total of nearly 500 little airfields, which have been predominantly created to provide a source for GA and microlight ai traffic flights, without having to clutter up the more major airfields. All airfields have parking for (usually) two aircraft and associated taxiways to facilitate their coming and going. Please note :- these sceneries have been designed for use in FS2004 with the original UK VFR Photographic scenery and mesh. They rely for details on the "usual" collections of library objects, specifically EZ-Scenery, UKVFR and Rwy12 libraries. Whilst other configurations will probably work, to a degree, you'll have to try them and see if they suit you. See the enclosed ReadMe for further details.

Private Strips - revisited

File Description:

Microlights- Vol.2

File Description:
Three more low-polygon count models for AI use in F2004, all tail-draggers, one based on the AirBike, with two seats, the second based on the Weedhopper, the third based on the Affordaplane. I've only included one or two texture sets for each aircraft, but I have included basic repaint templates for the Airbike and the Weedhopper, so you can generate a multitude of brightly-coloured aircraft to your own taste in a few minutes. Each model includes three LOD models and a reduced-detail shadow model, for improved visual performance, and to this end I have also included updated models for my previous "Microlights for AI" upload (required for the textures if you want these aircraft). Although the model file size will be bigger, because FS only loads the LOD model it requires for the given range of the aircraft, once the aircraft is more than a few hundred feet away from the viewpoint, it will affect the frame-rate less than the originals. Please see the enclosed text file for further details.
