The Ice Gauge for FS9 or FSX

File Description:
This small simple gauge will measure the amount of structural ice on your airplane and display a warning, the color of which depends on how heavy and dangerous the ice is. It also adds the effects of very dangerous "freezing rain" (SLD icing) to the other icing effects already present in FS9/FSX simulation. Included is a detailed report on how icing works in FS9 and FSX and how aircraft designers can enable properly working anti-icing equipment in their planes. This gauge works in either FS9 or FSX. Simple manual installation instructions are provided in the readme.

Ice Gauge for FSX as Pop Up Window

File Description: This is the Pop Up Window version for the "Ice Gauge for FSX and FS9" by Charles Owen, and with updated graphic. This allows the gauge to be used with any aircraft. Typical use would be to place the pop up on a second monitor, or it can be resized to fit out of the way on your main monitor. This gauge is provided as a way of making winter flying in the sim a little more realistic. This Pop Up version is intended for FSX, but may also work with FS9 (untested). Cunliffe-Owen Concordia

File Description: In 1945 this little known (and probably unheard of) Southampton engineering works announced the existence of their CONCORDIA medium range 10 seat 'feeder liner' project which put it directly head to head in the same market as the DH104 Dove, the prototype of which had already flown. The advertising publicity of the day described a very desirable, luxurious aircraft with a 1200 mile range. Designed as a DH89A Dragon Rapide replacement, as with the Dove, the operating costs would prove to be at least twice as high but an attractive modern metal airliner with passenger appeal was on offer! In 1947 the first two airframes had been completed and were flying. In addition a production line of six aircraft had been laid down. These included c/n 3 for the Nawab of Bhopal (G-AKBF/VT-CQT) and two for British European Airways. Unfortunately, due to an inadequate market, by the end of the year all work was suspended and the incomplete airframes were scrapped.

I made these because the original model only came with one texture, and not surprisingly I couldn't find any repaints for this aircraft, being 'obscure' as it is.
