--Repackage of "Working Wipers" for FS2004. Original package by Guy De Smet.--
Several simmers, who were having issues attempting to install the "Working Windshield Wipers" package requested I re-do the package with clearer instructions. This re-do includes the following changes:
1. New comprehensive (hopefully easier to understand) instructions;
2. Setups for the default Cessna 172 and Boeing 737-400;
3. Conversion of the "gauge" to a .cab file;
4. Sample screenshots.
A copy of the original package is also included. Please unzip this archive to a temporary folder and follow the detailed instructions. Original gauge by Guy De Smet. Re-packaged for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

| CTAF Voicepack Mod |

File Description:
This voicepack mod introduces a number of changes to the way CTAF communications are handled in the sim. For all CTAF communications, aircraft now repeat the name of the airport at the end of the transmission to help ensure copy of the airport name during busy CTAF activity. Furthermore aircraft now say on all transmissions the type of aircraft they are (Beech, Cessna, Mooney, etc). Finally, the default format of position announcements for VFR/IFR aircraft would say "10 miles west of Miller County", which is an overly-repetitive use of the airport name. Aircraft now announce position/bearing without saying the airport name, as that is repeated at the end of the transmission. This is all meant to better reflect real-world CTAF transmission protocols.

| Springfields in the US VFR Tour |

File Description:
As a tribute to the animated "Simpsons" TV series, I decided to plan and fly (virtually via FSX) VFR to a Springfield in each state that had one. There are over 40 Springfields in the US with some states having none and some greedy states having multiples. Not counting the multiples, this leaves by my count 33 Springfields. Pretending we have deep pockets and lots of time, we will fly a Cessna 172 to the airports closest to each Springfield in a circuitous route beginning and ending in North Carolina. The flights assume you understand VORs and flying them inbound and outbound as well as utilizing NDBs. The GPS is handy for positional awareness, but using it to get from waypoint to waypoint takes out the fun.

surrounded by trees like Eucalyptus,capable of attaining a height that can range anywhere between 6fts to 300fts! after a short evening
flight from Mumbai you've just landed at small airport at Dhulia(India) and vacated the runway, AND you've just spotted a
hanger, good! that's were you want to be, but hey! it's already occupied. now what?.Well..good news! there is another hanger,
but were? can't even see were taxiway is leading to because of dense trees. Can you find the Hanger? surely you don't
want to leave your cessna under open sky for whole night long or do you?

Cape Air operates a fleet of over 83 Cessna 402s, 4 Britten-Norman Islanders and 2 ATRs, with up to 525 flights per day during high season.
Here is their AI Model(Artificial Intelligence Model) for FS9. Model by HTAI (Henry Tomkiewicz) is included in this Pack,
repaints by Rafael "Fefi" Ortiz and Xtra files folder included for those who wishes to add something else to their model.
You may also find their FSX-FSX Steam Version as well as the Caribbean Flight Plans for all versions here on this website.

Microsoft left out Ryan Creek Airfield, Stewart Island when it made FS2002. It is a well use commercial airfield so here it is very simple as it is in real life. Southern Air operate two BN-2 Britten Norman Islanders and has access to a Cessna 185 to maintain daily regular scheduled flights from Invercargill to Stewart Island. There are a minimum of three scheduled flights per day. However, the number of flights increases on demand through the busy summer season, the current record held being 33 return flights in one day.
Also inclued is the afcad and flight plans files for Ryan Creek.

| Upset Recovery |

File Description:
Upset in FS2004! Can you recover from an upset? Your instructor tells you to close your eyes and he then places the aircraft in an unusual attitude and then tells you to open your eyes and recover. I have used the Cessna 182, placed it in an unusual attitude four times, paused each flight, and then saved it. When you load it, the flight will be paused and all you need do is press the "P" key and recover. Try not to overspeed, overstress, or splash in the water. I have also included a very short video of my "recovery" from a graveyard spiral. This package is only for mature pilots who can fly with instruments. "Spot view" pilots may find this too much of a challenge.

A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of G-PBYA, originally ordered for the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Canso A amphibian, basically equivalent to the US Navy PBY-5A. It was built by Canadian Vickers at Cartierville, Quebec and was allocated their constructors number CV-283 before adopting the RCAF serial 11005. It was taken on charge by the air force on 27 October 1943 and initially saw service with 9 (Bomber Reconnaissance) Squadron at Bella Bella on the British Columbia coast between Vancouver and Prince Rupert. It was on their inventory from November to the following August. 9 Squadron had been based at Bella Bella for some time prior to the arrival of Cansos, having operated Supermarine Stranraers there. The Cansos were mainly operated from water despite their amphibious undercarriages and were used on day and night patrols, looking out for enemy submarines. By mid-1944, the threat of a Japanese invasion of Western Canada had receded and it was decided to disband 9 Squadron and close the station at Bella Bella. The Cansos, including 11005, were flown to Alliford Bay in the Queen Charlotte Islands, also in British Columbia, and transferred to 7 (BR) Squadron in August. The job was the same – anti-submarine patrols mostly – and 11005 remained with 7 Sqn until it too was disbanded on 25 July 1945. After a post-war career as transport and waterbomber, it was acquired by Plane Sailing in 2004, restored and repainted as a OA-10A of the USAAF. It is based in Duxford. Corrected the indicated speed error (KIAS) vs the true speed (KTAS) according to the data suggested in the pilot's operating manual (POH).
In some cases the position of the center of gravity unladen weight is corrected for a better weight and balance of the airplane.
Actual direct references from Pilot Operations Manual (POH) for specific details, Power,
Nose or pitch position and weight and balance settings, airplane geometry, piston or turbine engine data,
propeller and everything that refers to references, also the real references of the manufacturers of sea engines whatever the specific case.
