F6F-5 Hellcat Minsi III CVG-15

File Description:
cfs2/Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat Minsi III CVG-15, BuNo. 70143, USS Essex, October 25, 1944. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhauled Model. Pilot: Commander David McCampbell. As commander of Air Group 15, McCampbell was able to fly his assigned aircraft on almost every mission. Minsi III lasted longer than any of his other Minsis. In December of 1944, this plane was lost in an accident while being flown by McCampbell's replacement.This was probably the best known of all the Hellcats, as McCampbell made 20 of his 34 kills in the Minsi III. Soviet Bell P39Q Airacobra '42548'

File Description:
Bell P39Q Airacobra 42548 Soviet. Painted over The B24 Guy's P39D Overhaul Model. Flown by: Captain Grigorij Recskalov, 16th regiment 1944. Captain Recskalov was an Ace with 41 victories (at the time he flew this aircraft). This aircraft is decked out with the "Victory Stars" as the national emblems (red star with white outline with yet another fine-lined red outline). The victory stars began to become popular in 1944, and went on to be the present day national insignia. Note the lack of national insignia on the upper wing surfaces, and the sky-blue field behind the fuselage insignia. Complete Texture Folder, with Damage Files, included. By revev. Enjoy!

Alert!! Lite is the freeware version of Alert!! Pro, which will be available at the end of May. Alert!! Pro is a professional pilot fault monitoring system and complex failure generator expansion pack for Flight Simulator 2002. The program tries to satisfy the dream of almost all virtual pilots, to simulate the failure of various systems and instruments in player’s aircraft as close to real-life as it can be. For first time in Flight Simulator, pilots can try for example what happens when extracting landing gears or flaps over the allowed speed. With using Alert!! Pro airplanes must be operated within operational limits, otherwise the plane can suffer serious damage or can even lead to crash. With this program we created the real hard simulator flight which stands closer to reality than anything before. This is the dream of all virtual pilots. Alert !! Pro is simulating runway condition according to weather conditions, so brake effects are depending on the condition of the runway. Alert!! Lite and Alert!! Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. Model Designer Hiroshi Igami. Flight Dynamics Designer Warren C. Daniel. Tested by Project Open Sky Members. Master textures by Corey Ford. This colour scheme was used at the time following the merger with BEA until 1984 when the colour scheme was changed again for the privatisation of British Airways. This paint is my third version and uses many new techniques for the engines and the horizon shine. The model contained is the most recent update SP3A which includes a brand new tow truck as well as animations and the catering and stair vehicles which can be controlled pressing 'Shift'+'8' to bring up the V4adv panel. The FDE is also the most recent update for the Rolls Royce model. Better preview screenshots are available in the zipdrive, Happy landings.

Soviet Air Force Bell P39D-2 Airacobra White 37 41-38428

File Description:
Bell P39D-2 Airacobra White 37 41-38428 Soviet. Painted over The B24 Guy's P39D Overhaul Model. Pilot: Lt. V.I. Fadeev, CO of the 3-rd Squadron, 16 GIAP. Kuban', April-May, 1943. According to 16 GIAP documents, during 394 combat missions/51 encounters Fadeev scored 17 personal and 3 shared kills (from which 14 Bf-109 and 1 Ju-87 while flying Airacobra from April 4 to May 5, 1943). Fadeev was killed in action on May 5, 1943 and was posthumously awarded the Golden Star. cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat Mk-I RAF Fleet Air Arm E-F Serial #JV-???.This aircraft (serial number unknown) was part of the 800 NAS aboard the HMS Emperor in mid 1944. The new generation "Cat" provided the 800 Squadron aircrews with a superior air carrier fighter. The HMS Emperor was to become the eyes of the admiralty in flying strike aircover and artillary spotting thtoughout Operations Overlord and Dragoon. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhaul Model. Note black and white invasion stripes on fuselage and upper and lower main wing surfaces. Code letters are red, outlined in white. Complete Texture Folder with all texture and damage files included. File Description:
cfs2/Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat No. 10 VF-27, USS Princeton, October 24, 1944. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhauled Model. Pilot: Ens. Paul E. Drury. On October 24, 1944 this aircraft was not flown by its regular pilot, Paul E. Drury. The scramble to get into the air was such that the pilots took whatever aircraft was serviceable and the closest to the pilot. Ens. O.L. Scott flew this aircraft that day, and was shot down and killed (the only pilot to die in the air battle that day. Drury, in the "borrowed" aircraft shot down three more fighters on that day.
