File Description:
Lockheed L-1049G-03-158 (c/n 4681) 'PP-VDD' belonging to Varig. Delivered to the Brazilian company on 18 November 1957 and finally destroyed in 1967. This is an improved version of my previous Varig repaint. With the valuable help of Luiz Foernges it was possible to make the repaint even more realsistic. Based on original textures by Manfred Jahn, this texture set requires the great L-1049G Super Constellation package by Manfred Jahn and his team (l1049g.zip). Installation instructions are included.

File Description:
Wolf Lake 4AK6 is in Alaska, some 10 miles northeast of Wasilla, on the north side of Knik Arm. It is an airpark, with houses and hangars adjacent to a runway that is 3,800 feet of asphalt aligned 06-24. The runway is lit but the taxiways are not. There is a second runway that is around 2,500 feet long and aligned 36-18, which is grass and unlit. The C-130 is permanently parked, and seeing it land would have been interesting.

All other features of version 2.0 are retained: scale runways, ramps, and taxiways, expanded 15-gate main terminal complex, enhanced general aviation parking with east and west FBOs, detailed Georgia Air National Guard (C-130) and CRTC ramps, detailed Gulfstream Aerospace north and south facilities, new control tower, FedEx cargo ramp, and fire station. Parking for over 150 aircraft.

53 DC-4's/C-54's in use.
Package with FS2004 panel by Michael Vader.
With FS Design Studio 2.20 complete reworked and
improved model. Features full animated moving-parts with
rolling wheels, suspension, steerable nose gear...
FDE reworked for FS2004 by Guenter Kirschstein. Livery paint by
Dale DeLuca. Base design & textures by Arik Hohmeyer, complete
design rework by Chris Grabow (FS-Design Berlin).

All additional objects have been placed with Instant Scenery 2 from (Flight 1). Airport ground textures are made with SBuilderX & FS Earth Tiles. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of PP-PCF of Panair. L-049 C/n 2049 was built for PanAm, but was delivered new to Panair of Brazil as PP-PCF and named "Bandeirante Antonio Rodrigues Velho" in 1946. It was used until july 1962, after which it was used for spare parts. It was scrapped in Rio de Janeiro in 1969. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.
