Gold of the 429th BS / 2nd BG, Amendola, Italy, December 1944 - [?ditched Adriatic Sea with Dale Gold 18/12/44?]; severe battle damaged Maribor 1/4/45 with W.B. Cope; three engines out, landed Prakos, Yugo (crew ret in C-47); aircraft repaired and flew back to base; Returned to the USA Bradley 12/7/45; Independence 6/8/45; Reconstruction Finance Corporation (sold for scrap metal in USA) Kingman 21/12/45."

Founded in 1956 under the name Vietnam Civil Aviation, the airline was established as a state-owned enterprise in April 1989. Vietnam Airlines is headquartered in Long Bien District, Hanoi, with hubs at Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The airline flies to 52 destinations in 17 countries, excluding codeshared services. This is the paint of Vietnam Airlines with NEW LIVERY for Aerosoft Airbus A321 IAE. Vietnam Airlines orders 18 new Airbus A321Neo and there are 56 A321 in their fleet.

YWWI Woodie Woodie Manganese Mine - Pilbara Manganese, a wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Minerals (Consmin), operates the Woodie Woodie mine, which produces high-grade manganese ore of superior quality. The ore is sold to the international steel industry. Production in 2010 was 1,238,000t @ 46.2% Mn, with a capacity of 2.5mtpa of high grade lump and fines. The high-grade lump produced by the mine is an ideal blending material with high manganese and is very low in phosphorus. Furthermore, the lump is hard, has very low degradation and high thermal stability. The mine has a 100.5km2 mining corridor and approximately 5,500km2 of greenfield areas outside this corridor. Multiple open pits are in operation and owner mining of ore is used to promote selectivity and to minimise dilution. The mine also employs contract mining of waste to promote efficient bulk mining practices. The mineral processing techniques include crushing, screening and heavy media separation. Woodie Woodie has a new camp and an all-weather air-strip constructed in 2009, suitable for large aircrafts. Ore is trucked to Port Hedland for shipment. | Sachs Harbour CYSY in Northwest Territories, Canada |

Sachs Harbour is on the southwest coast of Banks Island on the north side of Amundsen Gulf, around 240 miles northeast of Tuktoyaktuk and 180 miles northwest of Ulukhaktok. The village is the only permanent settlement on the island, and is located where it is to benefit from the harbour shelter provided by offshore land. The population is only 130 or so folks, who live on hunting and fishing with some tourism. One claim to fame is that the island is home to threequarters of the world's population of muskoxen and the second is the largest goose colony in North America. The airfield is on the plateau just above the village at 282 feet ASL. The gravel runway 084T/264T (true bearings in Northern Domestic Airspace) is 4,000' long and 100' wide and lit. The apron is on the south side at the centre of the runway and there is a new terminal building; there is JetA fuel available and perhaps 100LL in drums. To the west of the airfield are the deserted buildings of what was once a Department Of Transport weather station. Aklak Airlines flights (operated by Kenn Borek) fly to Sachs Harbour from Inuvik three times a week in summer and twice a week at other times; the AI will be included in the post of a revised Aklavik, and Inuvik revised and Tuktoyaktuk should be fully installed BEFORE Sachs Harbour.

This airbase, located about 35 NM in the west of Munich (Bavaria, South Germany),
is the homebase of JaBoG32 riding the Tornado PA200. The German flight check
department GMFS, using C-47 in the early days and thereafter Hawker-Siddeley 748
as well as HS-125 for periodic recalibration of the radar- and navigational
equipment at civil and military airfields, was also on the base till 1994.
After the final decision was made not to establish commercial air traffic although
it had been discussed for a long time period, I reworked the airbase completely.
Among other objects, 38 hardened shelters for combat aircraft have been emplaced.
The included AI-Package contains: Lockheed F-104E GAF, Panavia Tornado PA200 GAF,
Mikoyan MiG-29 GAF, Douglas C-47 GAF, Canberra B.20 GAF, Boeing E3A Nato, Boeing
KC-135 USAF and an aircraft.cfg for the MS Learjet 45.
Several F104's, Tornadoes and MiGs perform touch and goes in the local area,
a Nato E3A leaves IFR to Geilenkirchen (ETNG), an USAF KC-135 routes IFR to
Decimomannu (LIED), a Canberra B.20 (was used for high altitude validations) goes
IFR to Cologne (EDDK) high in the sky and a Learjet shoots IFR to Bremen (EDDW) per
attached flight plan.
Lago's FSE is required in order to see most of the emplaced buildings /objects.
Lets get ready to rumble, but keep in mind, don't argue with the flight checkers
if they are on duty.

| Air Zaire DC-4 1971 |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-4 in Air Zaire colors. The freeware DC-4 (C-54) V3 by Jens B Kristensen is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures are 32bit DDS.
Air Zaire operated 8 DC-4s. These were passed on to the airline by Air Congo, after the name change in 1971. This DC-4, 9Q-CBG was with Air Congo/Air Zaire from 1967 to July 1976, when it was sold to Zaire Aero Service. It tragically crashed with that airline, on August 23 1988, over Mbamou Island in in the Republic of the Congo.

Harvard 7059 was received from the SAAF, late in 1994, wearing the Normal Dayglo design. The HCSA Management, decided to , as a token of appreciation towards the SAAF, for the “Gift†of 10 Harvards, to “dress†7059 in the SAAF 75 celebration colours.
The scheme was designed by member Carel de Jager. A decision was taken to honour the then CAF, Lt.Gen. James Kriel, by naming the a/c after his wife “Nellieâ€
Nellie was presented to CAF at the 75th celebration Air show, held at AFB Waterkloof in May 1995. I'm not sure how his wife felt about having a noisy old bird named after her! Textures only for A2A's T-6 Texan

File Description:
RP-C2714 (c/n 218), version 1. Hand drawn recreation of the Qualitywings Boeing 757-200 in Cebu Pacific 's special livery. These are textures only and intended for use on the QW 757-200 BETA(!!). I used this repaint as a casestudy/showcase repaint, by throwing out the (rather basic and low detail) base textures and completely replacing them by custom made, handpainted textures (from the rubber of the wheels to the baydoors, to the flaps), hereby getting rid of the akwardness of photoreal parts on a handpainted livery. Like always, it sports our signature weather and dirt groups. Installation is pretty easy and straight forward. Fly safe, land safe and enjoy the paint!
