File Description:
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in the sunny Dominican Republic!

*Stock main terminal building (left mostly unchanged as it is relatively accurate)
*Jetways added where applicable and other spots for commercial air traffic added
*Seperate parking areas for GA traffic
*Hangar and other airport buildings added
*Airport vehicles and objects throughout the airport
*Airport fire station with fire truck
*Helipad
*Static people 'easter eggs' on the airport property
*A few fishing and recreational vessels in the waters around the airport

AFCAD for the beautiful freeware General Juan N. Alvarez International Airport, Acapulco, Mexico (MMAA) scenery by Dr. José Luis Águila Boudib (see "acapulco.zip" and "acapulco_update.zip"). The original file comes with no AFCAD. This one is custom built from scratch with very detailed 2D layout all over the airport to precisely match every building and equipement. All gates are here for airlines, general aviation and cargo aircraft. Works great with "Ultimate Trafic" (payware) and "AI Mexico 2005 SP4" (freeware) to create a heavy AI trafic. Your virtual Acapulco airport will be as busy as in real life. See read me for details. Sun cream is not included.

The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is KLAS and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-2, Medium-3, Small-33
Express-18, GA-12. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It
automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file KLASBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.
