This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24D by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24D-110-CO 42-40891 "Night Mission" of the 397th BS/6th BG/6th AF. It patrolled the Panama Canal Zone and the Caribbean for German U-boats.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

Scenery for the German air to ground ranges ED-R37 Nordhorn (ETUN) and ED-R138 Siegenburg (ETAV). Both are used by NATO air forces to practice ground attacks. Nordhorn located close to Hopsten AB in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Siegenburg is located near Ingolstadt/Manching AB in Bayern. Aircraft of all six fighter squadrons of the LSK are represented, though in one case the Fishbed was actually a "M" instead of a "MF".

This postponed the airline's entry into the jet age until three Boeing B720s were purchased in April the following year from the bankrupted German charter airline Calair. Scenery of german general aviation and glider airfield Meschede-Schueren (EDKM).
Meschede is one of the oldest glider airfields in Germany. In 1933 an airshow
was the begining of flying in Schueren. Today only the old building of the pilot´s school can be seen. Schueren is located near the lake Hennesee in west Germany.
The scenery has night effects and winter textures.
