LOWS 2006, Enhancement for VFR-Flying - Maria Plain

File Description:
Enhancement for my freeware scenery addon "LOWS 2006" for VFR-flying mainly. This small scenery is representing a very important compulsory reporting point within the airspace of Salzburg airport for VFR-flying, which has not been implemented in MSFS standard scenery. The real basilica located at the northern border of the City of Salzburg, Austria, was built in baroque style (1671-1673). W.A. Mozart placed debut performance of his "Kroenungsmesse - Mass in C-major, KV 317) there. The basilica is place of pilgrimage; aside from this the place is a very popular sightseeing point for the city of Salzburg.

Sounds Air, New Zealand - 2 Flights - Sep 2006

File Description:
Two little flights - set in the modern era, which is a departure for me - that are replicas of the real-world services offered by New Zealand's "Sounds Air" company. As well as providing scenic flights and charters they also operate timetabled services between Wellington and locations across Cook Straight in the South Island, such as Picton, Nelson and Kaikoura, the latter two being featured here. Their web-site is at ->> http://www.soundsair.com/ <<- and is worth a visit as there is full information relating to the timetables and also some great photographs. The aircraft used in this re-enactment - KLC - is also featured. The FS2004 model - the GA-8 Airvan by Mike Stone - is available at his site:- www.pmstone.com. The Sounds Air livery - by Dan Hayward - is available here at Avsim.com and is named ga8klc.zip.

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG) 2006 Update

File Description:
Update to the KCVG-2006 scenery which added the new runway 18R/36L to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Based on some feedback, a bgl file which flattens the airport terrain has been created, thereby eliminating the bleed-through issue some were experiencing. There were also some minor tweaks made to some of the taxiways in the AFCAD file. In addition, Nick Stavropoulos has updated the AFCAD file to add 185 gates and parking for Delta/Delta connection, COA connection, NWA/NWA Jet Link, UAL/UAL Express, American Eagle, USAir, FedEX, USA3000, Miami Air and GA parking.

Last Offline Update - October 2006 - for EditVoicepack 3.1

File Description:
Classic but still used by many simmers: EditVoicepack 3.1 for FS2004. One of the options at the time, was the (manual) Offline Update. That ended around 2009. And by now also the developer himself, Lars Moellebjerg, can no longer provide this update anymore. Lost in time it seemed.

Version 3.1 is still available for download on the official site, but it does NOT contain the last Offline Update, according to several forum threads here and there. Fortunately, I found the update on the outskirts of my hard drive. Lars kindly granted me permission to upload it to AVSIM.

The 2006 Maine Military AI Aircraft and Airbases

File Description:
The NorthEastern USA Military AI Aircraft and Airbase Collection Part 1: 2006 Maine Military AI Aircraft and Airbases package is the first in a series of complete Military AI packages that will cover all the currently active military aviation units in the New England states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island along with New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This first package includes represenative AI fixed and rotary wing aircraft for all the military aviation units currently operating in the state of Maine, AFCADs for Bangor International Airport (KBGR) and Naval Air Station Brunswick (KNHZ) and novel and unique demonstration flightplans utilizing all of the above. Complete AI versions or conversions of such aircraft as the USN P-3C, USNR C-130T, USN SH-60B, USN HH-1N, ME ANG KC-135E, ME ARNG UH-60A, ME ARNG/CD RAID OH-58R, OSACOM C-12D and VT ANG F-16C (refueling flight conversion) are included. this is an updated version of the default p3d airport: *airac 2006* -corrected runway dimensions/markings/lighting configurations -added runway 11/29 -new ramps, terminal and parking -new taxiways and signage my intent is to have a functional and current airport, not eye candy. the idea is to pretty much match the real charts for online use (vatsim, etc). not tested with any type of AI traffic or atc.

Atlantic Airways (Faroe Island) Winter 05/06

File Description:
This is a flightplan for Atlantic Airways, the national airline of Faroe Island serving destinations in Denmark, Norway, UK and Iceland. This release is covering the week between 9th of January 2006 to 15th of January 2006. In this week the airline only have services between Faroe Island and Denmark. The company have a fleet of BAe 146-200. Repaints for the aircraft can be found in the Project AI Files Library, and repiant for Fernando Martinez' BAe 146-200 AI model can be found here on AVSIM. I have included both a MRAI installation file and files for TTools by Lee Swordy. Enjoy!
