US & Canadian Coast Guard AI Boat Traffic V1 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a paint and traffic file addition to go along with Henrik Nielsen's Global AI Ship Traffic. These files have been tested to operate properly in FSX and P3Dv3. The textures are in .dds format for FSX and P3D. The routes have been made with the consideration of using ORBX Vector, ORBX NA landclass and Pilots 2008 mesh products. 9 of the US Coast Guard's Bay Class icebreaker tugs are represented. 21 Canadian Coast Guard 47 foot motor life boats from the Quebec\Atlantic sectors and the British Columbia sector, along with 13 motor life boats of the US Coast Guard First District (New England) are represented. 4 ship traffic files allow all vessels to appear in the scenery. Hendrik Nielsen's USCG Bay Class model and Jean-Pierre Fillion's Motor Life Boat model are included. Both Hendrik Nielsen and Jean-Pierre Fillion have given permission to include their ship/boat models with the project and I thank them greatly. Four ship traffic files allow all vessels to appear in the scenery. Please see the 'ReadMe' file first.

X2AM - RAF Aldermaston - Berkshire, England Download

File Description:
RAF Aldermaston (ICAO X2AM) is a former Royal Air Force station located 8 miles (13 km) east of Newbury, Berkshire and 9.8 miles (15.8 km) southwest of Reading, Berkshire, England. Originally built as an RAF Bomber Command airfield during 1941-1942, Aldermaston was transferred to the United States Army Air Forces in August 1942. Placed under the jurisdiction of Eighth Air Force, it was home to several Douglas C-47 Skytrain Troop Carrier Groups. It was transferred to Ninth Air Force in 1943 primarily as a Troop Carrier Command base. Returned to RAF Control at the end of 1945, it was used by Technical Training Command before being placed on Care and Maintenance. In 1946, it was transferred to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and used by BOAC aircraft for training. Also used by the Ministry of Aircraft Production for Supermarine Spitfire assembly and flight testing, the airfield closed in 1950 and the site became home of the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment (later the Atomic Weapons Establishment) from 1950.

Hunter AAF & Tybee Island Download

File Description:
Made from satilite photos, a fair representation of Hunter Army Air Field/CGAS Savannah, CGS Boat Station Tybee Island, Tybee Island lighthouse, ships, and Ft Pulaski, a Civil War Fort guarding the mouth of the Savannah River. Hunter AAF has most of the hangars on the main ramp represented with custom macros. Ramp is full of CH-47 Chinook, AH-64 Apache, HH-65 Dauphin helicopters and C-12 US Army Twin Props, as well as ground support vehicles. Tybee Island is under the approach to KSVN from the east and sits in the middle of the Savannah River. CGS Tybee Island is located there, a CG Boat Station with docks and a helipad (on the real tennis court location, sorry) and Ft Pulaski, a Civil War fort, the first duty station of a young Lt. Robert E. Lee, complete with cannons on the ramparts. Across the river in the town of Tybee Island is a working Tybee Island Lighthouse. Ramp statics can be easily removed if you prefer your own AI. Requires NOVA textures, a free download.

Douglas DC-3 Val-U-Prop CargoLiner Plane and Panel Download

File Description:
Val-U-Prop is a rogue airline based in Bloomington, Indiana, that flies everything from VIPs to sheep manure anyplace and anytime. VP's motto is "No job too small; No fee too large," and our DC-3's, DC-4's, DC-6's and DC-8's can be seen hedge-hopping into various obscure airports throughout the world. This aircraft is an all-aluminum re-paint of the fabulous DC-3 OH-LCH by Jan Visser, Erik Ellis, Roy Chaffin, Ian Roper and Bill Rambow, to which FS2002 lights have been added. It has military capability, including machine guns and NUCLEAR/GPS/JDAM guided bomb launch. Panel includes everything on main panel, except for GPS and (optional) default radios, so there is no tabbing. The very aluminal wing views were shot by Thomas Klein, and the vintage C-47 cabin was photographed by Tom Turner. Gauges by James Underwood, Ernie Kennedy and Dai Griffiths. A-bomb and machine guns by Chris Trotter. All of this brought to you by Val-U-Prop - http://home.bluemarble.net/~jcumus/index.html - where WE VAL-U-YOU!

F-16C Fighting Falcon Block 50 'Aegean Ghost' Hellenic Air Force Download

File Description:
One of the most completed packs ever uploaded for FS. Full combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, this "Aegean Ghost" repaint, is representing an F-16C Blok 50 in service of 341st Squadron of Hellenic Air Force. The fantastic model and realistic "metal looking" textures are made by Kirk Olson. The package contains realistic sounds made by Angelos Hatzikatakos. A new panel was made by Nick Karatzides who also modified the official checklist (by Lockheed Matrin Ltd.) for FS purposes and also wrote and a VERY completed flight manual (47 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. The panel uses realistic radar & HUD gauges combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions, made by Eric Marciano. This "F-16C_HAF_v2.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the controls and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying...It is for people who want to know how it looks to fly with a modern fighter. The package contains visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.

Curtiss P-40N Warhawk (NL540TP) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
A repaint only for the payware Flight Replicas P-40N Warhawk. This repaint depicts the restored P-40N 42-105306, registered NL540TP. The aircraft originally served in the Pacific with the 7th FS, 49th FG, and was one of a few P-40's flown by Lt. Ray Melikian. Later, while being flown by Lt. Marion Hawke, the aircraft was substantially damaged when it collided with a P-47 while attempting to land at the Iron Range Repair Depot in Queensland, Australia. The aircraft remained abandoned at the old airfield until being recovered in 1973. The airframe passed through several notable hands over the years before finally being purchased by Chris Prevost in 2000, who had the aircraft shipped to the Sonoma Valley airport where the restoration to airworthy began. Doing much of the work himself, over almost a decade, Prevost flew the aircraft for the first time in January 2009. Fitted with dual controls, the aircraft's original pilot, Ray Melikian, was able to fly the aircraft again. Included with this repaint is a set of updated files for my "Little Jeanne" repaint.

File Description:
FS2004 Flight Plan for OB-18 Junta Colorado (New) IFR high speed low altitude military training route. This is the seventh in a series of FS2004 flight plans I have uploaded. This route goes through flat and rolling terrain in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package is a gauge by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying at very low altitude. This gauge will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and is a great companion of the flight plans. Another option to download Version 2.0 of my FS2004 mini panel which has all this functionality and more.
