Ohio Rail - A Summer Day of Railroading

File Description:
After completing these five activities (about 8 hours of play time), the engineer (player) will have visited and received a rich, first-hand view of many highly detailed industries and landscapes on the OHIO RAIL from the Marietta Yard in the south to the Zanesville Yard in the north. The engineer should have also faced several challenges in terms of meeting the demanding time schedule set forth by Ohio Rail management and devising the best way to make pick ups and drop offs, as most of those must be done manually (As usual, I made some complex scenarios to give ya something to think about). But most important, the engineer should have a lot of fun dieseling around the WV&O! It's good to be back after my long absence from MSTS. SKYRAT.

File Description:
After finishing a great first day, you are ready for a second day that takes you from Zanesville in the northwest to Florence in the east. You perform extensive work in the Cambridge and Byesville area, then move on toward Florence where you do some complex work at the Ephraim Logging Camp. You (the engineer) will face several challenges in terms of meeting a demanding time schedule set by Ohio Rail management and devising the best way to make pick ups and drop offs, as most of those must be done manually. As it happens, today is a very busy day for the railroad, so enjoy watching all the the other trains come and go. This day starts at 0845 and ends at 1745 (4 activities). Enjoy. SKYRAT.

USAAF B-24D "Kate Smith" 98th Bomb Group, 9th AAF

File Description:
"Kate Smith" 42-40991 was a B-24D-120-CO which came off the production lines of Consolidated, San Diego. The art work depicts American Singer Kate Smith's theme song, "When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain". This ship was flown by the 1Lt James A Deeds to Ploesti on August 1, 1943. While taking part in the disasterous 98th BG attack on the Astra Romana-Phoenix Orion refinery complex, it took a direct hit in the cockpit area over the target at an estimated 250 ft of altitude. The aircraft caught fire in the bomb bay area and exploded mid-air. Miraculously, the copilot, 2Lt Clifton Foster was blown clear of the disintergrating aircraft and was able to open his parachute. Taken prisoner, he was the only survivor of the ten man crew.

X3LR - RAF Langar - Langar, Nottinghamshire, England

File Description:
RAF Langar (ICAO X3LR) is a former Royal Air Force station located near the village of Langar, Nottinghamshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east-southeast of Radcliffe on Trent and about 100 miles (160 km) north-northwest of London, England. Opened in 1942 during World War II, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as troop carrier transport airfield. After the war it was provided to the Royal Canadian Air Force which used it as an operational base until 1963. Today the airfield is the location for the British Parachute Schools, who use the original control tower for their headquarters. The former Avro industrial complex is used by private industry.

This is a program that permits you to save fs9.cfg, scenery.cfg, *.ini, and other files, with a specific name. You can save many differents names, to have many configurations, like plane, helicopter, rocket, balloon... You can also start the program with a parameter, (the name you saved) and MultiConfig replace files and launch the application which is assiociated with (like FS9.exe).Translation is not my job, so please, tell me if something is really bad... United Airlines' first B737-200 (N9001U)

File Description:
United Airlines was the one of two product launch airlines for the Boeing 737-200 (the other was Lufthansa.) This aircraft, which wore registration N9001U, was the first 737-200 for United. This version of the United livery was how this aircraft originally appeared though United changed this livery to what was known as the "bold logo"; the word UNITED was made much bigger, along with the logo, and the three stripes were moved down the side of the fuselage slightly. Nevertheless, this was the original livery for N9001U. This is a textures only package; you must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv v2 base package available here at AVSIM. The textures in this repaint are 32-bit with no mips.
