Repaint of the Project Opensky GMAX 747-400 (G-CIVS) in the Canadia World Scheme, 'Whale Rider'. CIVS was one of 3 747's which wore this scheme. Unfortunately they have now all been repainted into Union Flag livery. Features accurate, 100% Hand drawn textures in high quality 32bit format. Original British Airways textures by Gary Hayes.

| Nimpo Lake CF05 in British Columbia, Canada |

File Description:
Nimpo Lake is less than 10 miles south of Anahim Lake, and is a centre for fishing lodges and other "nature" activities such as hiking and hunting etc. As a result there is considerable float plane activity on the lake as clients are flown in, or out, to other lakes that are nearby, or just on sightseeing jaunts. This one, CF05, is the second of a trio of Nimpo Lake float bases, the one that is close to the "official" CAF8. It is for Stewart's Lodge fishing centre and Tweedmuir Aviation, both of which are included in this posting. The AI Beavers that are based at the CF05 dock in the AI have a colour scheme that is close to that of Tweedmuir. The AI was included in the posting of CAF8, as were the AI Beavers.

| Green Lake CBG2 in British Columbia Canada |

Green Lake is on the eastern side of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, around 40 miles north of Cache Creek and 15 miles south of 100 Miles House (a previous posting). The airfield is beside the lake shore and serves the Flying U holiday ranch with a grass runway 2,575 feet long and aligned 18-36. There is no lighting. There is also mooring on the lake for boats and float planes. I have posted it as Green Lake CBG2, but I suggest that you just add it to your previously created "BC airfields", if you followed my previous suggestion. You then avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Plus that way you will have just one FS9 library post to do and new airfields will not need yet another posting. Up to you. It just occurred to me that probably only a few of you have a copy of the Nav Canada Airfields handbook, so won't know the airfield altitudes, which is useful to have amid mountains. So, Pemberton is 670 feet Above Sea Level, Cache Creek 2,034 feet ASL, and Green Lake 3,550 feet ASL. The others to follow as posted. If you find a defect, email me.

File Description:
Fort Graham is what looks like a very small village on the eastern shore of Williston Lake in northern British Columbia, around 100 miles north of Mackenzie (a previous post). The lake, while not large by Canadian standards, is well over 100 miles long but squeezed in width to a maximum of 5 miles amid the surrounding Rockies. The airfield has a gravel runway of 5,000 feet aligned 13-31 and at 2,230 feet ASL. There is no lighting. The operator of the airfield (and presumably the "village" too) is Finlay River Outfitters, a company that is based in Mackenzie and "outfits" hunting trips in the local area. I have posted this as Fort Graham CBW3, but I suggest that you just add it to your previously created "BC airfields" and avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Up to you. AI Helicopters for Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. This package is designed to compliment the exceptionaly fine enhancement of the airport (CYYF) by John Stinstrom. Featured are three repaints by John Burford of the Sikorsky S-76 AI Helicopter in Canadian Helicopter's colors. The AI Helicopter model by Chris "Elvis" Jones is not included but download details for it and other suggested enhancements are included in the documentation. The project uses the "invisible" airport and "forward departure" (no push-backs) techniques. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall. ---
NOTE: This single package replaces three related files destroyed in the May hack upon Avsim.

This folder contains a repaint for the Captain Sim Boeing 707 for FSX in the colors of F-BGST, a 707 that flew with Point Air. Point Air was a French airline company operating first this 707 and later two McDonnell Douglas DC8's on a route from Marseille and Mulhouse/Bale to Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Point Air was famous for its low prices, before the age of low-cost airlines. The airline started operations in 1980. Built on the remains of the French Antillan SATT, the Swiss-registered Point Air went into a politically-enforced bankruptcy in 1988. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Captain Sim.

Climb aboard the "Golden Argosy" for an eight hour journey from New York’s Kennedy airport to Roma’s Fiumicino airport aboard the Level-D 767-300ER with B767 Captain, Tony Vallillo. Mr. Vallillo penned the 6 part series of “Golden Argosy” articles that were published at FlightSim.com in 2004. This 40+ page tutorial is written in a step-by-step format based on LDS767’s Expanded Checklist. Captain Vallillo's real world "Golden Argosy" flight is interspersed throughout, offering real world perspective for the flight simmer. The tutorial includes charts and flight plans and is intended to assist the novice and intermediate LDS767 pilot.
