F-111F Aardvark for X-Plane 6.40/6.51 - After a prolonged development period in which many, many problems had to be identified and fixed, the F-111 turned out to be one of the most effective all-weather interdiction aircraft in the world. Although highly critisized by some as being an unsafe and dangerous plane, the F-111 series of aircraft established the best safety record of any of the aircraft in the Century Series of fighters with only 77 aircraft being lost in a million flying hours (that's hours not miles). There was no other aircraft in service with the USAF which could carry out the F-111's mission of precise air strikes over such long ranges in all-weather conditions. Although the aircraft has left USAF service, it still serves with distinction with the Royal Australian Air Force and may very well continue there until 2020. The original concept for the F111 was for both a USAF and US Navy version. Weight problems led to cancellation of the Navy version in 1968.
The F111 was the first swing wing fighter, the first with a side by side escape capsule for the operators and the first able to cruise at over mach 1 without after burning. It was also the first bomber with greater than mach 2.5 capability. The F version has a wingspan of 63.0 ft. spread, a length of 73.5 ft. and is powered by two 25,100 lb static thrust engines with afterburning. Gross takeoff weight is 100,000 lb., maximum ordinance 31,000 lb and internal fuel 5025 USgal. Range is greater than 2500 nm with internal fuel and service ceiling is above 60000 ft.

| RAF Church Fenton |

File Description:
RAF Church Fenton (ICAO: EGXG) was an Royal Air Force station in North Yorkshire, near the village of Church Fenton.
Plans for a new airfield adjacent to the village of Church Fenton were announced in June 1935, it was subject to protest from the local population particularly concerning the waste of valuable farming land and was close to an existing airfield not far away at Sherburn. Despite the protests construction started in early 1936 on the site, which was a mixture of private and West Riding County Council-owned farm land.
On 1 April 1937, the station was declared open and on 19 April the first station commander Wing Commander W.E. Swann assumed command. Within two months No. 71 Squadron RAF had arrived with their Gloster Gladiators.
Second World War
Opened in 1937, the station saw the peak of its activity during the years of the Second World War, when it served within the defence network of fighter bases of the RAF providing protection for the Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and Humberside industrial regions.
During September 1940, it became home to the first RAF "Eagle squadron" of American volunteers being No. 71 Squadron RAF. The airfield was also home to both the first all-Canadian and all-Polish squadrons, with No. 242 Squadron RAF for the Canadians and No. 306 Squadron RAF for the Polish.
As technologies evolved, the first night fighter Operational Training Unit (54 OTU) was formed at Church Fenton in 1940 and stayed until 1942. Some of the squadrons stationed there flew the famous de Havilland Mosquito.

| RAF Swanton Morley - Norfolk, England |

File Description:
Swanton Morley was a new station planned under the RAF expansion scheme but not completed to the same standard before the start of the Second World War. It was part of No. 2 Group in Bomber Command until December 1944 when it was given over to 100 Group - the RAF unit responsible for countering German defences against the British strategic bombing - as they needed another airfield close to their HQ at Bylaugh Hall.
On 4 July 1942, American and British airmen took off from this station as part of the first combined bombing raid of World War II. No 226 Squadron had been tutoring the US 15 Bombardment Squadron. Both Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower were at RAF Swanton Morley for this mission, which saw six crews from 15th Bombardment Squadron fly a raid with six crews from the RAF, using Boston light bombers belonging to No. 226 Squadron RAF. The raid was made at low level against German airfields in the Netherlands. During World War II the station was home to the Bomber Support Development Unit (BSDU) of No. 100 Group RAF.
After World War II the station was home to No 1 Air Signaller's School and later to the Central Servicing Development Establishment (CSDE) and the Maintenance Analysis and Computing Establishment (MACE).
From June 1953 to 1995 the station was also used by 611 Volunteer Gliding School, when the station was listed for closure under Options for Change. The station held popular airshows during the 1980s. File Description:
This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. In my search for a good sound for the Douglas DC-6/-6A/-6B/-6C, XC-112A/YC-112A, VC-118, the C-118A/R6D-1 series and the Canadair C-5, I struck on the fabulous soundpack for the beautiful Douglas A-26 Invader of Milton Shupe and the Sim-Outhouse Team, made by David C. Copley. Most of the wav-files in this soundpack are recordings of the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 engines of an A-26 Invader. Having studied the Invaders sound pack, I discovered that by ‘tweaking’ the sound.cfg, particularly with regard to the exterior sounds, it became possible to develop a good exterior DC-6 sound (4 engines). No changes were made to the wav-files, as I didn’t want to modify them; the
wav-files just sound wonderful. In order to make your system reproduce the DC-6 sound, first download from www.sim-outhouse.com the great Douglas A-26 Invader package and enjoy flying that plane. Then copy the sound pack of the A-26 to the DC-6, and replace the existing sound.cfg by the revised one you just downloaded. This DC-6 sound has been tested in FS2004 only. Special thanks to David C. Copley who gave his permission to upload the modified sound.cfg as freeware, with limited distribution, at Sim-Outhouse.com and Avsim.com. Tiger Airways Australia Pty Ltd, operating as Tigerair Australia, is an Australian low-cost airline. It commenced services in the Australian domestic airline market on 23 November 2007 as Tiger Airways Australia. It is a subsidiary of Tiger Airways Holdings, a Singapore-based company, which is owned partially by Singapore Airlines. The airline is based in Melbourne, Victoria, with its main base at Melbourne Airport. After the 2011 CASA grounding, the airline has shut down its bases at Adelaide and Avalon and initially only operated out of its Melbourne base since returning to the air. On 7 March 2012, Tiger Airways announced that it will reopen a second base at Sydney Airport. On 4 September 2012 Tiger Announced they were resuming flights from Melbourne to Adelaide, beginning from 1 November 2012. On 18 December 2012 Tiger began direct return flights from Mackay to Melbourne and Mackay to Sydney. On 22 October 2012 CASA announced they were issuing a new safety certificate and lifting all restrictions placed on Tiger Airways Australia, as they were now satisfied they were no longer needed.
Tigerair's livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-232 aircraft (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. Very easy to use, just make a flight plan in the simulator or in this utility. (But please read the readme.txt file)
What this program does: quickly change the settings of MSFS2020/P3D/FSX/FS2004, such as time, date, fuel, weight, traffic etc. Start a failure sytem, such as gear, flaps, engine, etc. runway detecting system to see wich runways are in use.
Quickly look at Airport Info for all possible info such as: ILS, Radio, RW length, Elevation, etc, etc.

This folder contains a repaint for the FG-1D Corsair by Milviz, in the colors of F4U-1 BuNo 55995 of VF-17, the aircraft flown by Lt (jg) Ira C. Kepford, Bougainville, February 1944. Ira Cassius Kepford was born in Harvey, Illinois, on May 29, 1919, son of George Raymond and Emma McLaughlin Kepford. His family moved to Muskegon, Michigan, shortly after he was born. An all-around athlete at Muskegon High School from 1935-1937, he capped his prep career by being named an All-State back in his senior year. He enrolled at Northwestern University in 1938 to study for a dentistry career.
He enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserve on August 18, 1941, and was honorably discharged on April 29, 1942, to accept appointment as Aviation Cadet, U.S.N.R. After flight training at the Naval Air Stations, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Miami, Florida, he became a Naval Aviator on November 5, 1942, and was commissioned Ensign, U.S.N.R., with date of rank October 16, 1942.
Detached from Naval Air Station, Miami, Florida, in December 1942, he served with Fighting Squadron 17 in the Pacific War Area until March 1944, where he became the U.S. Navy's leading ace, scoring a record 16 confirmed Japanese planes destroyed. That squadron won the Navy Unit Commendation and he was personally awarded the Navy Cross, a Gold Star in lieu of the second Navy Cross, the Silver Star Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross.
From March until June he was attached to the Fleet Air, Alameda, Command, and the last six months of that year served with Fighting Squadron 84. In December 1944 he was transferred to the staff of Commander Fleet Air, West Coast, and remained in that assignment throughout the remaining period of hostilities. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

AFCADs, flightplans and aircraft for the newly released ScotFlight commercial scenery by VisualFlight
The newly released ScotFlight scenery by Visual Flight (www.visualflight.co.uk) is a beautiful rendition of the Scottish landscape and landmarks. It contains many new airports which were not included in the default FS2002 and I have had the pleasure of beta testing it for the last 4 months or so.
My freeware add-on package is in 4 parts:
1) AFCAD files for all of the airfields and airports included in the ScotFlight scenery. This will allow the smaller airfields to appear on the FS2K2 GPS unit and all will be listed in the World/GOTO menu.
2) EditVoice files for the new airfields so you will hear the correct names on the radio. (optional)
3) General Aviation flightplans for all of the airports, which can be added using TTools v1.3.3 by Lee Swordy.
4) Scheduled airline flightplans for flights to/from Scottish airports and small islands. Including 99.9% COMPLETE UK flightplans for Eastern Airways and 15 (yes fifteen!) individual BAe Jetstream J41 models, courtesy of Tom Woods, to use as AI traffic on the Eastern Airways routes. Plus directions where to get other suitable aircraft for, ScotAirways, BA Loganair, EasyJet and Highland Airways. Many thanks to Tom for his hard work repainting all the registrations for the Eastern fleet!
PLEASE READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! Anyone with the AFCAD and TTools programs by Lee Swordy should have no problem installing these files but, it needs care and attention to get them right.
