Category: Combat Flight Simulator 3 - Missions
GC Battle for Europe Download

File Description:
This is a package of 46 missions for CFS3 which, if flown in chronological order, are meant to provide a mini-campaign which follows plausibly historical events. The missions trace the experiences of a hypothetical American pilot who starts flying with the RAF in the autumn of 1941, then transfers to the USAAF to fly spitfires, thunderbolts and mustangs based in Britain. The pilot's tour of active duty ends in the summer of 1944. The story is very loosely based on James Goodson's experiences in the RAF and in the 4th Fighter Group, as described in his autobiography "Tumult in the Clouds". There are two installers, one for missions using mostly stock planes and the other for only 1% planes. For either version you must separately download and install the Bf110g2 from the Ground Crew site (http://www.groundcrewdesign.com) and Herbie G's B17g mollie, 3us_b_17g from the WWII bomber list at avhistory (http://www.avhistory.org/scripts/Downloads3/downloadMain.asp?WW2Bombers/3us_b_17g.zip). All of the other planes used in the 1% version are also available at avhistory. It is also recommended to install the Nationality Expansion Kit, available with the cfs3 utilities at http://www.sim-outhouse.com.

Stanford Torus Space Colony v1.0 Download

File Description:
What will future space colonization realistically look like? What is it like to approach a rotating station almost 2km in diameter? The Stanford Torus is based on a design created during a 10 week program in 1975 held at NASA’s Ames Research Center and Stanford University. The project participants considered how to create a practicable permanent colony in space using existing technology at minimum cost. The habitat is over 1800m in diameter and spins at 1 rpm to provide 1g of pseudo-gravity. Package includes a scenario to fly from the ISS up to a GEO rendez-vous with Stanford, as well as documentation on the station itself. I am looking for a texture artist to do the station justice, since my textures are pretty sad. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested. INSTALLATION: You need Vinka's spacecraft.dll to use this add-on. A link is provided in the documentation. 1. Unzip files into your Orbiter directory, preserving the directory structure in the zipfile. 2. Load up the Stanford scenario in the Stanford directory in the Orbiter start window. 3. Enjoy the trip!

Ultimate Airbus A32x V2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Ultimate Airbus A32x V2 is an Advancement of the previous Version "Ultimate Airbus V1" and generally follows the same Idea: To ease flying the WILCO Airbus Volume 1 (models A318, A319, A320 and A321). This Package therefore introduces 6 smaller Sub-Panels (p.e. Engine Starter, ECAM Control, Flaps Lever, Radio etc. including Clickspots to handle those Panels) instead of allways using the Pedestal or Overhead Panel covering the complete View. It also includes a "Co-Pilot" functionality to automate certain Parts of Flight Procedures (Lights, Gear, Spoliers, Flaps etc.), Buttons for Panel Lights and Doors as well as new Views. A detailed Tutorial Flight considering the a. m. added functionality - based on Airbus Original Procedure- and Checklist but modified to fit with the functionality available in WILCO's Airbus Volume 1 - is also Part of this Package. It is especially written for Beginners because there is no such detailed Tutorial currently available. This zip-file contains the FS9 version only which is slightly different from the FSX version. More detailed information on this package as well as on installation you will find in the "Readme_ExtVers_FS9.pdf" file.

ENHV - Honningsvag-Valan - Honningsvag, Norway Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
ENHV is the most northern airport in Europe (self-promotion of the airport). It it situated on a promontory 46 feet above the sea a few miles southeast of the Nordkap.

This scenery is not a stand-alone-scenery. It is an update of the Airports of Norway (AoN) where ENHV is already included. So AoN has to be installed first to see the buildings and the objects on this airport. In addition the Nordkap is included with the rock, the museum and the viewing point.

AON you can download here: http://www.flightsimnorway.com/addons/default.php?funct=dl&pack=aon

Also recommended is to install are the corresponding Photo sceneries AoN Phatopack 1 + 2: http://www.flightsimnorway.com/addons/default.php?funct=dl&pack=aon

There are some errors corrected In ENHV that occur in the AoN:
1. The altitude is adjusted to the correct height of 46 feet.
2. The sea is where it should be.
3. The land classes are partially adjusted.
4. The town of Honningsvag is involved.
5. The Northern Cape is included, but can be installed separately.

Houston George Bush Interncontinental Airport KIAH Single-Layer AFCAD Download

File Description:
This single-layer AFCAD file, named KIAHBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is KIAH and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-8, Medium-11, Small-32, Express-20, GA-5. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file KIAHBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.
