File Description:
Textures for Libardo Guzman's Electra model.
L-188A Electra c/n 1094 original 1959 delivered to Western AL, 1968 converted to Combi L-188PF and to Intl. Jetair Canada as CF-IJY, then as N405GN from 1977 to 1979, flew for Great Northern in Alaska as part of the development of the North Slope oil fields.

Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model!
I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not.

File Description:
The Dornier 328-Jet is a development of the existing and popular 328 Turboprop, fitted with Pratt & Whitney PW306B turbofan engines (each producing 6,050 pounds of thrust) instead of the twin PW119B turboprops that the original 328 sports. Seating 32 passengers in a 2-1 seating configuration, the 328-Jet carries a heavier load over a greater distance at a higher speed, making less noise than the original 328. Gandalf Airlines remain one of the few operators of the 328-Jet, owning 7 of them, and 1 328-110 turboprop. This is a repaint of D-BGAR, one of the 328-Jets they still own and operate. TEXTURES ONLY! You MUST have Mike Stone's Dornier 328-Jet installed in order to use this file. It is obtainable from AVSIM or from Mike's homepage (http://www.pmstone.com).

File Description:
A320 IAE V2500-A5@27000Lbs With LIP v1.7 (Lift Improvement Package) by Alan Fernandes and improved A-FLOOR protection by Edson Costa. Application of LIP on A320-IAE has been developed with the main objective to improve landing performance at SDU (PR-MAG and PR-MAK). LIP allows to reduce the approach speed by 6-7 kt for operational landing weights. Note: Preliminary estimate of the speed benefit was around 4kt. Five structural modifications have been introduced to change the aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft: 3 modifications on the wing leading edge, 1 modification on the engine nacelle (not modeled) and 1 modification on the wing trailing edge. L-188A Electra c/n 1100 original 1959 delivered to American AL, 1977 converted to L-188AF freighter, after 14 different owners and leasers, she joined Atlantic Airlines in Great Britain in 1995 and went to Buffalo AW in Canada in 2013 as C-GXFC and still flies in this livery today.

File Description:
King Shaka International Airport, named after Shaka, leader of the Zulu nation in the early 19th century, also known as La Mercy Airport (after the area in which it is situated) and abbreviated as KSIA, will be the primary airport serving Durban, South Africa. Located at La Mercy, approximately 35 kilometers (22 mi) north of the city centre, it is expected to open on May 1, 2010 (just over a month before the start of the 2010 FIFA World Cup); replacing the existing Durban International Airport. All flights handled by Durban International Airport will terminate on April 30, 2010 and will move to King Shaka International Airport overnight, with KSIA handling its first flight on May 1, 2010. This updated version caters for AI flight plans and Aircraft. I just added jetways

File Description:
Fort Smith is just north of the border between Alberta and Northwestern Territories, midway between Lake Athabasca to the southeast in (mostly) Saskatchewan (80 miles) and Great Slave Lake to the north west (90 miles). The runways all used to be larger, and while I don't know the history it looks as if it is ex-military and these are the remains of what were once 10,000 feet of asphalt. The main runway is now 11/29 and 6,000 feet long, and the secondary one is 1,800 feet of mostly gravel. There is an airline based at the field, Northwestern Air, and fuel (both 100LL and JA-1) is available at a self service point so long as you give it a credit card to read while you fill. The town of Fort Smith is two miles east of the airfield, on the bank of the Slave River and where there are some rapids that require a portage to get around them. Before aviation came along the river was a major route to the north and all those furry animals, which was why the Hudson's Bay Company established an outpost there in 1872. Today it has a population of 2,400 and the main activities are government administration of much of the Northwest Territories, education, and tourism.
