| USCG Air Station Sitka PASI Scenery Package with AI Aircraft |

Thanks to Airport Design Editor(ADE), Military AI Works (MAIW) scenery and aircraft, along with AI Flight Planner3 (AIFP3), I did my best to re-create USCG Air Station Sitka for FSX. Creating this airport scenery (along with Kodiak PADQ) was my first attempt at a BIG (for me) scenery project in ADE, but thanks to MAIW and their Global Scenery Library Objects, I think I've succeeded in re-creating the airbase. You'll need to go to MAIW's website and download that "Global Scenery" file for any of this to work, so I've copied that website link below (in STEP 1). I also added Sitka markings to all the AI helicopters for added realism.
And just for fun, I placed a USCG Cutter and a "fishing boat in distress" (complete with green smoke) out in the harbor as a "Practice Rescue Scenario". The Cutter has a "hard deck" to land on and I've also illuminated both it and the Fishing boat for DUSK and NIGHT practice.
*SPECIAL NOTE* THE AI C-130 in the pictures is from my Kodiak scenery package, there are only Helicopters based at Sitka...but I have it "fly in" from my Kodiak scenery package. File Description:
Kindley Field, on the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda, was built as a joint RAF/USAAF facility during the Second World War. Subsequently the RAF area became the civilian terminal while Kindley Air Force Base was operated by the USAF between 1948 and 1970. It was primarily a staging post between the US and Western Europe for land-based planes unable to cross the Atlantic non-stop, very like Ernest Harmon in Newfoundland and the civilian Gander, and like Harmon it closed when the jet age made such bases redundant. Prior to that it hosted no combat units, but the 59th and then 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadrons, the 'Hurricane Hunters', were based there, and also from 1 February 1956 to 15 June 1963 the 303rd ARS Stratotankers were present to support Strategic Air Command and other refueling requirements. After 1970 it became a US Navy facility primarily concerned with tracking Soviet submarines, and was closed at the end of the Cold War. This scenery represents Kindley between 1955 and 1962 and has custom made scenery by Dan French and ai military traffic by Al Von Pingel to add to the downloadable California Classic civilian and MATS traffic available at Tom Gibson's site. Like Harmon and Gander, it was one of the most important airfields of its time.

This is one of the oldest US Airlines that ceased operations but reburned 3rd times, this is the 4th time that this airline reborn as a charter airline called "Pan American World Airlines" known as "PanAm", the fleet only consists in 1 Boeing 757-23N Winglets with the registrations TF-FIC, operated by the Iceland airline "Icelandair". Pan American World Airways was an airline that was the principal and largest international air carrier and unofficial overseas flag carrier of the United States of America for much of the 20th century. The first airline to fly worldwide, it pioneered innovations such as jumbo jets and computerized reservation systems and introduced the first American Airline in 1958. Until its dissolution on December 4, 1991, Pan Am "epitomized the luxury and glamour of intercontinental travel", and it remains a cultural icon of the 20th century, identified by its blue globe logo ("The Blue Meatball"), the use of the word "Clipper" in its aircraft names and call signs, and the white uniform caps of its pilots.The model is Alpha India Group (AIG) Boeing 757-200 RR Basepack. Ná»™i Bà i International Airport (IATA: HAN, ICAO: VVNB) (Vietnamese: Sân bay Quốc tế Ná»™i Bà i) in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is the largest airport in Vietnam in terms of total capacity. | Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX BS273 High Altitude Flight |

This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire IXc BS273, which was one of the Spitfires modified for high altitude interceptions, based at Northolt, 1942, and regularly flown by F/O Prince Emmanuel Galitzine. The prince was a Russian immigrant, a great grandson of Tsar Paul 1. After the Russian revolution, his family fled Russia, ending up in England. He wanted to fly, and when the Russian attacked Finland, he decided to join the Finnish Air Force. However, on hearing his mother was killed in the London blitz, he returned to the uK (via the US and Canada) and joined the RAF, becoming a Spitfire pilot with the Special Service Flight in Northolt. On 12 september 1942, he intercepted a JU-86 above Southampton at 41.000ft and attacked it. The battle went up to 43.000 ft, and was the highest recorded air battle of WWII. His spitfire only had two cannons, and one of them was frozen solid, giving a very unbalanced flight while shooting, combined with excessive vapor trails of his ammunition. It is believed he managed to hit the german aircraft, but in the end it got away safely. However, since the Germans now knew they could be intercepted, they launched no more high altitude attacks on the UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

| Airbus A320 Family CFM56-5A/B Realistic Soundpack |

I am proud to release my new and final Airbus A320 CFM56-5A/B sound pack for Flight Simulator. These sounds are intended for the lovely Project Airbus model, but will work with other models. I made this soundpack as accurate as possible using real and digital recordings, after watching many videos of A320s, and my ability of perfect pitch. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cockpit. You start the engines and hear the PTU system transferring the hydraulics from the Nr. 1 Engine to the Nr. 2 Engine for start-up. This sound was recorded from a real A320. You hear the humming sound of the CFM56 at idle. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the famous CFM56 buzzsaw-like sound of the engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. (Just a little realistic enthusiastic touch to add to the sounds, as in real videos you hear this sound every time after takeoff in the planes.) It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall buzzer, overspeed beeper, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps, rolling, and touch-down. Please try these sounds out because you'll surely be impressed! :)

This package includes all the Hellenic Spitfires expect the Spitfire pr Mk.XI witch appeared in one unit and pr Mk.XIII in three units. You can fly the spitfire mk.Vb/c, Spitfire mk.IXe LF/HF and Spitfire Mk.XVIe LF. Greece in 9/23/1938 ordered 12 Spitfires and 12 Anson. During the June of 1939 it was signed the order of 24 Spitfires which cost 9335 pounds each. When Hitler attacked to Poland, England used all the aircrafts that were under construction and of course the Greek were some of them. On 10/12/1943, the 336th Olympus Squadron received the first Spitfire and followed the 335th Tiger Squadron. The Spitfire mk.Vb/c replaced the Hurricane mk.IIb/c. This is the final version, complete in itself and incorporating the two modifications posted separately. King Salmon is a town with a population of just under 400, on the north bank of the Naknek River and 15 miles from the sea. The airport is adjacent to the town and was originally an airforce base; the military hangars on the airport are still usable. The airport, with its long runway (11-29 and 8,500 feet with an ILS, and a second runway 18-36 and 4,000 feet) is a transportation hub for the area in general and in particular for the salmon industry. Along the Naknek River there are numerous canneries and there are also fishing lodges on the river and nearby lakes; to speed up transportation to the lodges there are float bases on the river to the south of the airport. King Salmon has three tiers of scheduled flights: Alaska Air direct from Anchorage in a 737 (passengers and cargo), PenAir (Saab turboprop) as part of their flights up and down the peninsula, and Grant Air serving nearby small towns. There are also PenAir flights, both scheduled and unscheduled, in smaller aircraft (Piper Navajo for instance) to smaller airports for the fishing season, plus cargo flights in larger aircraft by the lowest bidder (Everts and Northern). To complete the mix the AI includes a pair of F15s. The runways cross (see the airport diagram) so read the notes re long taxi routes. There is AI for PAKN, plus revised AI made for Dutch Harbor which includes flights by PenAir to King Salmon, plus revised parking for Dutch Harbor with new replacement bgls to cater for more flights. There is also AI for the float bases on the river; I have made two runways separated into two float bases for river AI, called King Salmon Floats and King Salmon River; more AI for these will be added when other scenery along the river is made. Just land according to the wind and taxi to whatever dock takes your fancy.

| Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LL-E) "Shoo shoo shoo baby" restored |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-35-BO 42-32076, the former "Shoo shoo shoo baby". In 1968, the ancestry of F-BGSH, an old B-17 languishing in derelict state on Creil Airfield in France, was discovered by the Australian aviation historian Steve Birdsall, who notified the USAF museum that this was a combat veteran that had flown operational missions, in contrast to most other surviving B-17's. Following negotiations, the B-17 was donated to the US by the French Government. Interestingly, its Swedish heritage attracted interest from Sweden as well, but nothing came of this. The aircraft was disassembled at Creil and trucked to Frankfurt and flown to the US in 1972, where it arrived, packed in 27 crates. No plans or funds for restoration were present at the time, but in 1977, Mike Leiston, a technician at Dover AFB contacted the museum about the possibility of restoring one of the museum's aircraft by volunteers at Dover AFB. With project approved, 42-32076 was transported to Dover, with the aim of restoring it to a stock wartime B-17G. Upon arrival, Paul McDuffee, who had flown her for 13 missions, was present, and the reunion was clearly an emotional one as he commented "I've just got to go over and kiss her", which he did.
The restoration continued to 1988,and after some 60.000 ma hours, "Shoo shoo shoo baby"took to the skies again for the first time on 11 september. On 14 october 1988, she flew for the last time, to the USAF museum near Dayton, Ohio, where she can still be seen. The main difference with her wartime looks is the fact that she currently sports an olive drab camouflage paint, which was necessary due to all the metal work needed to bring her back to a stock B-17G condition. Anticosti Island is in the Gulf of St Lawrence, around 25 miles off the Quebec mainland coast. It is some 40 miles wide and 130 miles long on an east west axis. There are few urban areas and only one that can be described as a small town, namely Port Menier at the western end of the southern coast, with a population of under 1,000. There is a ferry service to the harbour. The airport, Port Menier CYPN, is around 3 miles northeast of the town, with an asphalt runway aligned 11-28, 4,875 feet long and 150 feet wide with PAPI at each end. In 2010 (the approximate date of this scenery) a gravel runway was still visible at the eastern end of the field. This was no longer in use by 2010, except perhaps by small planes on skis in the winter. The island, with its small population, small urban area, and no industry other than logging, has as a result a mainly undisturbed wildlife population. This has made deer hunting and fishing the main tourist activities, with one company (called Safari) having an exclusive licence to exploit large areas of mountains and rivers. Planeloads of hunters and fishermen are flown in on chartered Nolinor Aviation planes from the south. There are a further two airfields in the eastern end of the island, and in 2010 Rivere-Aux-Saumons CTH7 had a 5,500 feet gravel runway, linked by road to a lodge area at the mouth of the river. This is the only lodge area that I have been able to locate, but there are others. To the south Riviere Bell CRB5 had at that time a gravel runway that was 3,000 feet long.
