File Description:
(TEXTURES ONLY)
(ONLY TESTED IN FSX: STEAM EDITION)
Unfortunately, I lost the motivation to continue the jetstar livery package and thought it is pointless to make it, so I just rejected it and release these 3 liveries.
I included 2 folders in each of the texture folders. One is an alternative lightmaps which shows the nose landing gear lights, and the other being the misc 1 texture file but with some parts of the texture blacked out. (The blacked out parts are actually transparent, recommended to use that misc texture when using an FSX model.)
The wheel rims are made by "dm6" from the X-Plane Forums!
Intrusctions and more information is included in the readme file.

| Air Ceylon, Lockheed L-749A Constellation, 1956-1958 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Air Ceylon was formed in 1947 by the government of the newly independent Republic of Ceylon (nowadays Sri Lanka). That same year three Lockheed L-749 Constellations were ordered for the connection Colombo-London. The order for the Connies lapsed and in 1949 Air Ceylon started a service operating Douglas DC-4s leased from Australian National Airways (ANA), who owned 49% of the shares (the other 51% were owned by the government of Ceylon). However, fierce competition from BOAC's DH-104 Comet 1 and TWA's L-749 Constellation forced Air Ceylon to close the London connection in 1953. In 1955 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines took over the shares from ANA. From 7 February 1956 till 1 November 1958 Air Ceylon leased KLM's L-749A Constellation PH-LDP for its new, weekly connection Colombo-(Bombay)-Karachi-Bahrain-Cairo-Rome-London-Amsterdam. For a limited period this route was extended from Colombo to Bangkok. PH-LDP was sprayed in a very pretty, exotic livery and received the name 'Mahadevi', its previous name having been 'Rotterdam'. In November 1958 PH-LDP was superseded by KLM's L-1049G Super Constellation PH-LKA/4R-ACH which also received a full Air Ceylon livery. On 3 November 1958 PH-LDP was written from use at Schiphol (Amsterdam) and has been scrapped sometime in 1962.
These are textures only. You will require Team 749's (Manfred Jahn & Co) Lockheed L-749 Constellation Basic Pack (lockheed749.zip), the folder Lockheed_L749_1 (twin stack exhausts). Also required Team 749's Lockheed L-749 Constellation Models Update (749_models_update.zip). Included mdl's custom made by Manfred Jahn. Repaints (based on Manfred Jahn's textures) by Maarten Brouwer.

Those are the aircrafts of the extinct mexican airline "Lineas Aereas Azteca", the Boeing 737-700 fleet pack contain the next aircrafts with the registrations: N160CK, N815PG, N966PG, XA-AEP (With Website included), XA-AEQ (With Website included), XA-TWF (With Website included). LÃneas Aéreas Azteca was an airline based in Mexico City, Mexico. It operated domestic scheduled services and international services to the USA. Its main base was Mexico City International Airport, with a hub at General Abelardo L. RodrÃguez International Airport, Tijuana. The airline was established on 9 May 2000 and started operations on 1 June 2000, operating domestic services with Boeing 737 aircraft. It started up after TAESA closed down and some of the staff and assets were taken over. The airline's operations were suspended by the government in March 2007 due to safety problems, and in October 2007 the Mexican government permanently revoked its air operator's certificate because the company hadn't solved those problems. On 10 October 2007, the General Civil Aeronautics Directorship (DGAC) of Mexico's Communications and Transport Secretariat permanently revoked LÃneas Aéreas Azteca's air operator's certificate, because the airline did not have a sound financial statement after the previous suspension. The fleet consisted in 6 Boeing 737-300 (XA-AAU, XA-AAV, XA-CAS, XA-TWG, XA-UCL, XA-UCP), 3 Boeing 737-700 (XA-AEP, XA-AEQ, XA-TWF), and 1 Bombardier Learjet 31 (XA-OLE).
