South African Air Force Trainer Set

File Description:
If you would like to start your military flying career, this file is for you. First, cut your teeth on the basic North American T-6 Texan (Harvard) and then move on to the twin-seater Atlas Impala Mk. 1 (Aermacchi MB326M) to start your jet training. Finally, move on to your own single-seater jet, the Atlas Impala Mk. 2 (Aermacchi MB326KC) to become fully operational. All three aircraft include checklists and virtual dynamic cockpits. They are all fully animated (including opening canopies), have full lighting effects and include custom panels. The "Aircraft overstressed"-problem that occurs when trying fast maneuvers has also been rectified, so you can throw them about at your hearts content. HAPPY FLYING!!

Para esto se ha realizado un archivo de vuelo que no necesita de edición o modificación en su simulador. No perjudica en absoluto su desempeño y no daña ninguna configuración. Relief textures: 5.-Spring And Water

File Description:
FS2004 Relief textures: world surface textures: SPRING & WATER This is the logic extension to my prior work, the relief textures for the autogen and airport buildings, that you can find in the file rlftxts1.zip. Now I try to improve the 3D aspect and ·relief of the ground textures, and give them a "bit of life"... I believe that these new textures are more "immersive" than the default ones, but this is only my opinion. Again, judge by yourself... The water textures are FULLY COMPATIBLE with the water reflections textures of Bill Lyon's and other authors. There are 5 files projected: 1.-fall 2.-winter 3.-Heavy winter 4.-spring and water 5.-summer

This theme takes advantage of the weight and fuel loading area of the sim for each aircraft. Your looking at hauling up to 1500 lbs at any one time so just be aware.

GC ANR Mission Pack

File Description:
This is a package of 18 missions for CFS3 which, if flown in chronological order, are meant to provide a mini-campaign which follows plausibly historical events. The missions trace the experiences of a hypothetical ANR (Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana) pilot from midwinter 1943/44 through to the end of the war in the spring of 1945. Two installers are included, one using mostly stock planes and the other using only 1% planes. Two italian Bf109s are also required, and may be found at the Groundcrew site (http://www.groundcrewdesign.com). Since the missions are flown using a nonstock nationality (Italy) you must also install the freeware Nationality Expansion Kit, which can be found at http://www.sim-outhouse.com.

Greece SRTM Mesh Part 2

File Description:
This terrain mesh scenery covers Greece, including all Aegean sea islands, plus most parts of Albania and Macedonia up to 41°50'N. Some parts of Bulgaria and Turkey are also included in northern and eastern boundaries of the mesh. The greek island of Crete isn't part of this mesh because SRTM data isn't yet released for the whole island. Based on SRTM Data (3 arcsec, 90m), generated with Matthew Styles's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04", sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m). While only tested with Fs2004, this mesh should also run with FS2002. This part contains all bgl files except Greece-N.bgl, Greece-NE1.bgl and Greece-NE2.bgl. Actually there is not a lot to edit, more to view but the edit function can move the full airport with all nodes and lines and lights at once to a new location referenced by the blue square UTM coordinates and height. Move of just a little bit is possible also. The Duxford package has been moved from UKS region to SanFran region in 1 minutes :-) Analyze a single airport or the full game region with all airports in the regions/airports the /packages and the /outterr folder generating a global list of values like runway, parking spots, frequencies, sound names and more. You can lock at an selected airport with the tree view.

Aero Shell De Havilland DH.114 Heron

File Description:
Do you remember the old Airfix 1/72 scale model, with the picture on the box cover showing a red nosed DH-114 Heron taking off from a SHELL oil field? When I saw Dee Waldron's great little Flight Sim Heron, I just had to repaint that plane in the Aero Shell livery. This is a great AI plane to have flying around in "oil rich" areas like Venezuela, Borneo, Malaysia. I am talking about the nineteen fifties and sixties, when these planes were often used to fly personnel to remote oil fields. These are textures only. The aircraft required is the AI DH-114-2B (Gypsy Queen engined variant) by Dee Waldron.

Korean Air Lines Boeing 747-200B, Flight 007

File Description:
Registration HL7442. On September 1, 1983, this aircraft, heading for Seoul from Anchorage, inexplicably drifted into Soviet airspace and was shot down, killing all 269 aboard, including a U.S. Congressman. This incident was one of the hot spots of the Cold War, and many questions remain unanswered to this day; as a result, many alternate explanations have surfaced. I prepared this aircraft in the memory of the victims, hoping for the complete truth to be revealed. As a result of this crash, Korean Air Lines shortened its name to Korean Air, and discarded this Japan-Air-Lines-carbon-copy look in favor of a more distinctive light blue/silver/white look in 1984.

File Description:
An FS2002 GPS flight Plan. The 38th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Thoise (Z13Q) runway 29, India and arrive 1 hour 24 minutes later at Kabul (OAKB) runway 29, Afghanistan. A very scenic flight. A climb up a valley followed by a tour between the mountain peaks and descent into a valley for the approach is featured. Keep a sharp lookout for you know who, there is a substantial reward still on offer. A VFR finals is featured (hand holding instructions given). The flight briefing (Word and text) is for a B737-400, it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.
