| Enhanced Shore waves for FSX and FS2004 |

File Description:
The default waves are too small, not random enough, they flicker like a tadpole tail, and move about 100 mph. These new ones are slower, more randon in shape and size, and move eventually into shore for a more realistic effect and not as cartoony.

This is an AI traffic package for the Braniff "jellybean" era. Includes some forty repaints to cover the entire fleet in varied colors, AI schedules, a scan of the June 13, 1967 Braniff timetable that I used to create the schedules, scans of a few of my slides from the era and a couple of other odds & ends. All AI models are included in the download.
This is the same as before the hack. The only difference is that KDEN has been corrected to XDEN -- Denver Stapleton.

AI Helicopters for Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. This package is designed to compliment the exceptionaly fine enhancement of the airport (CYYF) by John Stinstrom. Featured are three repaints by John Burford of the Sikorsky S-76 AI Helicopter in Canadian Helicopter's colors. The AI Helicopter model by Chris "Elvis" Jones is not included but download details for it and other suggested enhancements are included in the documentation. The project uses the "invisible" airport and "forward departure" (no push-backs) techniques. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall. ---

AI Water "aircraft" for Lake Okanagan, BC. This package features an AI Sternwheeler ship, an AI Waco Bi-wing plane and AI Cabin Cruisers set on Lake Okanagan, near Penticton and Kelowna, BC, Canada. Offerred as an interesting scenery enhancement, it also demonstrates the use of the "forward departure" (no push-back) technique as applied to water based aircraft. A few EZ objects have also been used to decorate the dock areas where the AI "craft" will be seen. This enhancement has been tested with the default FS2004 scenery only and may not work with other enhancements (such as UT-Canada) which alter the shorelines of Lake Okanagan. Other downloads may be required or are recommended. Complete details about these will be found in the instructions. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions. This scenery provides additional enhancements to Jim Campisi's Dulles International Airport Enhancement and provides gate markings and lighting using Sidney Schwartz's scenery design objects. This scenery also updates the AFCAD to align parking with gate markings and to clean up a few items from the original. Runway12 library not required, but recommended. Flight Ontario posted their scenery for CYRO in 2008. I originally learned to fly at Rockcliffe Flying Club and came up with some additions and modifications in 2009, and now with the passage of time there are more changes. This version replaces the previous updates and is a self-contained version.
A mini tornado in 2009 destroyed the old willow tree and almost put paid to the clubhouse too (though all the buildings are still standing right now) so there is a new (temporary) clubhouse, a new hangar, the willow tree is gone, the car park is enlarged and is now asphalt, the fence line is revised and the entrance gate relocated. The previous modifications included the refueling point near the RFC buildings, revised apron shape, gravel car park, parked cars, extended perimeter fence, deck in front of the RFC clubhouse, more parked planes, the large and old willow tree, and the float dock in the river. Note in the winter picture the Ottawa River is frozen, as it is right now in reality, and you can download my "Frozen Lakes etc" post and turn your own Canadian winter into reality; I have been surprised by how few people are interested in winter flying in FS9.

Tongass Remote Airfield v2 - for Tongass Fjords (FS9)
"Tongass Remote Airfield" v2 (RATR) Alaskan bush flying scenery (Fictitious).
This airstrip is for Flight Simulator 2004 and for the "Tongass Fjords" (FS9) addon by Holger Sandmann & Bill Womack; you must have "Tongass Fjords" (FS9) for this to work. Version 2 is a detailed, stand alone, remake of the first version, see PDF file.
Field history and description:
In the early days this area was well known to prospectors and hunters. A small mine was established and later abandoned. Around the late 40s a crew was contracted to clear a small landing area to gain easier access for hunters and campers. Due to the extreme remoteness of this area that clearing took several years. The last phase was the approach, clearing by hand a descending glide slope through just the tops of the tall trees. There is now just enough room for a very experienced pilot to get in and out of this field. The airfield is 26 miles north of Petersburg Alaska (PAPG). This is a tricky narrow approach with a left hand dogleg and then an immediate right hand dogleg turn just before the final approach. Not much time to set up your approach; also, it's a very short runway. For experienced pilots only, and make sure that your life insurance is up to date. Good luck.
