HEMM Mersa Matruh, Egypt

File Description:
Googly scenery for HEMM Mersa Matruh - a large Air Base near the north coast of Egypt. Marsa Matruh, as the town should be spelt, is a seaport 150 miles west of Alexandria but its main function today is that of a holiday resort for the residents of Cairo. It does not have an airport of its own, but uses a small corner of the Air Base for civilian flights. Microsoft Flight Simulator has made no provision for any traffic at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. Scheduled flights are operated by Egyptair Express using Embraer 170 jets, but other airlines call here from time to time, such as Air Sinai and Midwest Airlines. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

File Description:
ORBI - Baghdad International Airport, Baghdad, Iraq Slowly but surely the Baghdad international airport comes back to life. Although the airport is quite large, it is not yet used to its maximum. Some aprons still have no real use and thus are empty. Apron V, the presidential apron, is still present but might have been restructured by now. Airlines like Austrian, Emirates, Etihad, Royal Jordanian and FlyDubai offer regular services to Baghdad. Using ADEx 1.51 and the IRAQ AIP this AFCAD updates the default airport to what it is now on paper. Google Earth�´s images are too old to offer any help regarding buildings, vegetation and surrounding areas like offices, parkings, roads and apron V. Gatenumbers have been updated, taxiways added and renamed, ILS 15R/33L has been removed, the military area is more detailed, taxiways are correctly sized and the overall quality of the airport increased. For those interested, the complete IRAQ AIP is attached. It not only gives complete information about several Iraqi airports, it also holds approach plates of most of them. You will also find plates for ORSU, for which an AFCAD has been uploaded separately.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 49

File Description:
We make stops in Nigeria (2), Equatorial Guinea, Gabon (2), Angela (4) and Namibia. Newbies to this pack are the Boeing 737-800 and DreamWings Embraer 170. You will run into a mild thunderstorm on the second leg. On the fourth leg the air gets rather bumpy and violent. Does FS2004 have clear air turbulence? I bounced up 2,000ft then down another 1,500ft in a matter of seconds. I reduced my speed to regain control of my bird.

JetBlue Airways Winter 2005

File Description:
These are flightplans for jetBlue drawn from the week 11 - 17 December 2005. They include 2436 flights (100%), 76 of 84 A320s (reduced capacity as its the slow pre-holiday period) and all 5 of the new Embraer 190s. I've revised the November set to include the new E190 Liveries that Hernan Anibaro has created. Included is a special livery file incorporating the new tails. These plans were generated using MRAI gen and will install with the MRAI installer.

AIA EMB120 OceanAir PT-SLE

File Description:
Textures for EMB120 from AI-AARDVARK of OceanAir very first aircraft PT-SLE. PT-SLE, former Rio-Sul EMB120, delivered to OceanAir in December, 2001 and see on Porto Alegre in Febuary, 2002 with all light blue colors. Today PT-SLE still flying in blue colors in OceanAir routes. OceanAir is a 3rd largest brazilian airline flying with 2 Boeing 767-300, 1 Boeing 757-200, 16 Fokker 100, 5 Fokker 50 and 3 Embraer 120 (SLC, SLE, OAO).
