RJTC - Tachikawa Airfield - Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan

File Description:
This scenery represents Tachikawa AB, Japan (for use with the Vietnam War Project scenery by Xavier Carre, Jacques Godfrin and Jose Guenaizia) during the early 1960's. It is made with ADEX ver. 1.55. And now a little history on this installation. Tachikawa was home of the 1503d Air Transport Wing (Air Transport Wing) and was the host unit until it's closure in 1970. Attached unils were the 21st (C-123), 35th (C-118), 41st (C-124) ATS.

FS2004 Scenery - Offutt Air Force Base (Offutt AFB, KOFF) is a U.S. Air Force installation near Omaha in Sarpy County, Nebraska. It is the headquarters of the U.S. Strategic Command, the Air Force Weather Agency, and the 55th Wing. Its legacy includes the construction of the first two bombers to drop atomic bombs and nearly 30 years as the aerial command center for the U.S. in case of nuclear war during the Cold War. At one time the personal aircraft of Ezer Weizman who became Commander of the Israeli Air Force and later President of Israel .Unknown if this aircraft is still in flying condition ( in photo's until 2005 ) .
