| How to correctly use SimConnect in standalone applications in C++ |

This is an article and a demonstration program for programmers.
This article describes the correct way to create a Windows application that uses SimConnect functions as C++ classes. "The correct way" involves the creation of a multi-threaded application with the exchange events between the main and working threads and encapsulation of the client thread, functions and structures of the SimConnect library in C++ classes.
Paying attention to points of principle, the process of creation client application is described. Some original solutions of the wrapping of the functions and data structures were applied. Detailed comments are present. The executable file is absent in the archive due to license restrictions. You can build it from the source code. There is a project for Visual Studio 2010 in attached archive.

File Description:
Shortly after uploading my previous Dominie repaint (rafhs125.zip), I was requested to make this version which depicts a present day version of the HS125 Dominie in 55 (Reserve) Squadron RAF Cranwell, colour scheme. You will require rafhs125.zip in order to install this aircraft model, as this file contains textures only.
Thanks to Daniel & Denis da Silva for the original aircraft.
This model is intended for AI use in FS2004 although it can be flown, in FS2004 it performs better as a flyable aircraft in FS2002.

This add-on scenery represents Lisbon's Portela International Airport, up to date, and was designed as a workaround for the poorly detailed and inaccurate FS2K2 standard LPPT scenery. New to this add-on: New LIMA and VICTOR aprons included, and all the changes made on the MIKE, NOVEMBER, VICTOR and LIMA new taxiway layouts. All taxiways and parking stands are marked, identified and lit at night, now using new textures to improve night visibility.

File Description:
This is my first attempt in gauge creation. This package includes two gauges - descent calculator and automatic altimiter bug setter. Descent calculator can calculate both in metric and in US system. It can read current altitude from autopilot setting and current TAS. Automatic altimiter bug setter saves your time during hard takeoffs and landings. You set transition altitude for departure airport and transition level and altimiter for destination airport. When you pass preset altitudes it automatically switches altimiter setting. The gauge can work both in meters and feet (separate for TA and TL) and in millibars and inHg.

This is a repaint of Carenado's excellent B200 King Air. These textures represent a TC-12B "Huron" of the United States Navy as it appeared on September 7. 2007 as a memeber of VT-35, "Stingrays" at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the Carenado "B200 KING AIR HD SERIES FSX/P3D" payware package.
