King Cove Airport (IATA: KVC, ICAO: PAVC, FAA LID: KVC) is a state-owned public-use airport located four miles (6 km) northeast of the central business district of King Cove, a city in the Aleutians East Borough of the U.S. state of Alaska.
King Cove Airport has one runway (7/25) with a gravel surface measuring 3,500 x 75 ft. (1,067 x 23 m). For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2005, the airport had 1,030 aircraft operations: 71% air taxi and 29% general aviation.
Changes: Increased parking apron and turn arounds at both ends of the runway. Also added additional parking and custom models. Changes were based on 2014 construction plans.Created with Airport Design Editor 9x by ScruffyDuck Software using current FAA documentation and Google Earth measurements, this package offers a replacement for FSX's stock airport. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects and custom buildings.

This works for both FS9 and FSX. Tested in FSX. FSX & FS9 model used.
For FSX users make sure you have UNCHECKED "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX to make any FS9-based model visible during the day!
Texture quality; FSX Native: DDS DXT5 with alpha. FS9 Native: BMP DXT3 with alpha.
FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture.
Custom Light Map. Custom Shadows, Highs, Weathering as usual...
Included repaint is for the following model; FAIB_B737-200_N from FAIB, this is the N normal model, no logo light winglet model.
Model is available on AVSIM, FlightSim.com or on the author/developers site.
You need the basekit for this to work!!
Do make sure you copy the texture folder(s) in the respective folder.

Look also for the paintkits i have posted for the FSP models (paintkit_fsp_733.zip, paintkit_fsp_734.zip and paintkit_fsp_735.zip) and for my growing repaint-fleet. Unfortunetely the FSP Boeing 737s are not very popular. I want to change this, because this FSPainter model is fantastic: beautiful modeled, with working flaps, slats, speedbrakes and trust reverser. After several months of investigations for flight schedules and fleet details, the plans will now be ready for you, Peninsula Airways, usually called PenAir, is an American airline based in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. It is Alaska's largest commuter airline operating an extensive scheduled passenger and cargo services to over 85 communities, as well as charter and medevac services. Its main base is Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, with hubs at Dillingham Airport, Unalaska Airport, King Salmon Airport and Cold Bay Airport.
In this Package you will find all necessary files to put the entire fleet and Flightplans in your Flightsim. Please read The Readme-PDF carefully to avoid problems by running PenAir.

File Description:
The town of Talkeetna is around 75 miles north of Anchorage in Alaska, on the east shore of the Susitna River where the Susitna, Talkeetna, and Chulitna rivers join. The town is where Don Sheldon started Talkeetna Air Services. His story is told in "Wager With The Wind" by James Greinar and is well worth reading for the descriptions of mountain flying. There are two airfields at Talkeetna, PATK with its long asphalt runway and Talkeetna Village AK44 in the town. This is AK44; measuring the space left for the runway between the river bank in the south and the curve in the road that marks the north end of the field there is just enough space for the 900 feet of runway that is described in the book. The result is a step back in time to 1973, when the second hangar was built. Neither hangar has survived to today.

File Description:
Sand Point is in the eastern third of the Aleutian chain of islands in Alaska, around 85 miles east of Cold Bay on Popof Island. The town has a population of around 1,000 and it's economy is solidly based on fishing. There is, in the town, a fish processing plant owned by Trident (their largest plant is in Akutan, east of Dutch Harbor) and the area close to the airport is used for crab pot storage etc. The single runway is aligned 13-31 (with right hand circuits on 13) and 6,000 feet long. There are scheduled flights by Grant Aviation to neighbouring local airfields and flights to and from Anchorage by Peninsula Air (included in the AI posted with Adak). The Coastguard also make occasional visits.
