Nick's Prop Dust with Control Gauges

File Description:
Prop aircraft users are in for a real treat. This gauge/effects package automatically senses the terrain the aircraft is in contact with or flying over and changes the dust and water effects for the aircrafts prop/rotor wash based on dirt, dry mud or clay, snow, rain, water, ice, sand, gravel and short grass. In addition the real time surface conditions are also sensed. In example, a dry asphalt or concrete runway will produce no dust, however, the same runway with snow conditions present will automatically produce a throttle controlled snow blowing effect. The 25 included effects files and 5 gauges have been tuned to reflect a realistic representation of the dust/mist produced by different types of aircraft taking off or touching down on different terrains and surface conditions. The effects are properly influenced by cross wind conditions and reverse pitch is also supported. Effects files and gauges are included for large and small, single engine, multi-engine, amphibians, helicopters and massive scale military and commercial transports. It requires editing/adding lines in the aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files. The README files include very complete and comprehensive instructions including a quick and easy copy/paste file for all the Microsoft prop aircraft and tutorial on making custom gauges from the ones provided. St John's with Active Crosswind Runways

File Description:
An AFCAD2 file for St John's Int'l Airport (CYYT), Newfoundland, Canada. Verion 2 March 8th 2005. This updates the previous release (lb_cyyt.zip) to version 2. This AFCAD2 is the final release for St John's Int'l Airport. New in this version is the application of the crosswind runway technique, meaning all runways can now be used simultaneously for take-offs and landings. Previous paking and taxiway layouts remain the same. Requires the freeware St John's Airport scenery by Craig Mosher. This file has not been tested with the default scenery.

Grand Rapids with Active Crosswind Runways

File Description:
An AFCAD2 for Gerald R. Ford Int'l Airport, Grand Rapids, MI. This file will give you over 60 parking spots at the airport. Real life airline gates are now provided at the terminal and an extensive GA area is also available for use. Taxiways have been improved, night lighting added to the airport and an accurate tower view is now provided. A cargo area on the eastern side of the airport is also provided, with correct cargo airline assignments. All runway lengths are accurate as per real life. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, all runways at this airport are now active for simultaneous take-offs and landings. Credit goes to 'Skyhawk Driver' for giving me the idea of working on a new AFCAD2 for this airport. This is for the default FS2004 airport only.

IFSD Dublin with Active Crosswind Runway

File Description:
An AFCAD2 file for Dublin International Airport. This file is for the freeware scenery by Irish FlightSim Design (IFSD) only and will not work properly if used with the default FS2004 airport. This AFCAD2 provides assigned parking for airlines and cargo carriers that serve Dublin. A GA apron and tower view are also provided. Also, by using the crosswind runway technique, both runways 16/34 and 10/28 can now be used for take-offs and landings simultaneously. The Scenery is available from http://www.ifsd.ie
