Hawaiian Airports Part 3
This scenery features the airports at Princeville, Port Allen, Waimea and Upolu. HI01-Princeville and PAK-Port Allen are located on the island of Kauai, the film location made famous by Stephen Spielberg's blockbuster, Jurassic Park. PHMU-Waimea and PHUP-Upolu are located in the North West of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. All runways, aprons, taxiways and buildings have been repositioned to their correct locations, and the scenery has been recreated based on photos of the real airports. The scenery features many animated objects including people, aircraft, animals, waves, cars, trucks and many more. Full night textures with light maps are included.
All the scenery files have been sub-divided so they can be switched on or off according to user preference and hardware configuration. It has been designed for, and tested in DX9 and FSXA only. The airports include sloped flattens so they can also be used with high density mesh. This file also includes updates for Hawaiian Airports Part 2. Please enjoy, and I hope you like my scenery as much as I enjoyed building it.

This is a complete upgrade of vicenh05, Victoria, Canada area scenery for FS9. New in this version: automated installer and configurator from Ken Peters; several detailed models including the Empress Hotel, the Legislature, the Regent Hotel and the Johnson St. Bridge; greatly enhanced Inner Harbour; many generic buildings representing buildings throughout the area; 7 new small airfields with sloping runways; seven new floatplane bases (owners of Vancouver+ get extensive floatplane traffic in local liveries); 7 new heliports (Vancouver+ users get additional heli AI traffic) and a myriad of minor fixes and improvements. Included from previous versions are revised shorelines, landclass and 19m mesh and buffer meshes for South-Eastern Vancouver Island; boat docks with static boats, seaplane docks and terminal buildings for Harbour Air, Kenmore Air and West Coast Air; piers, buildings, breakwater and other components of the Ogden Point Terminal; dock, service building and pilot boats of the Pacific Pilotage Authority; Odgen Point Cafe and Dive Shop; marine navigational lights for Victoria Harbour and area, including Esquimalt harbour and Oak Bay; antennae location corrections for the area; AFCADs included: Land based (CML2), Floatplane (CAB3, CAP5, CAP8, CAV8, CAW7, CAX6, CMAP, CYWH), Heli (CAL7, CBF5, CBF7, CBK8, CBW7, CBW9, CBZ7, CMBH); AI craft models and repaints (Cruise ships are repaints of Asuka model by Mitsuya Hamaguchi: MS Amsterdam of the Holland America Line travelling from Victoria to Vancouver, MS Summit of the Celebrity Cruise Line travelling from Seattle to Victoria); S-61 Sea-King helicopter in Helijet colours; Pacific Pilot custom vessel working from the Pilot dock; 22, 30 and 40 foot vessels plying the harbour and nearby Straight of Juan de Fuca. Effects included for lights, water, smoke effects. Many flights are offered, including two flights for owners of the Aerosoft Beaver (not required). Ultimate Terrain compatible (not required). Users of Misty Fjords will also get additional cruise ship traffic: the Island Princess and the Volendam alternating with the Amsterdam and Summit. This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24D by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24D-10-Cf 42-62885 BZ862 of the RAF. Arrived in the UK in 1943, it was flown to Karachi, arriving there in August 1943. It first flew with 354 Sqn with serial A, before going to 160 Sqn as J. It was based in Minneriya, in present-day Sri Lanka and was used for long distance mine-laying operations. For this, they removed all extra weight and installed three additional tanks in the forward bomb-bay. This aircraft flew a sortie to southern Malaya to drop two British officers near the Kota Tinggi/Johore road on 31-7/1-8-1945, captained by Flt Lt J A Muir RCAF, and was airborne for 24 hrs 10 mins, the longest unrefuelled flight ever made by any Allied landplane in World War II; the distance flown was 3,735 mls (6,013 km). Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

| Super VC10 Panel upgrade Part 8.2 |

File Description:
This is an important additional update for David Maltby's Super VC10 model regarding the engines, also requiring download of the previous updates 1 to 8 and 8.1.
This update overcomes the bug that Microsoft introduced (left behind) in FS9 with regard to engine ignition (but corrected in FSX). In FS9 engine ignition is hard coded to 22%n2.
Not all engines can be modelled in that way so in effect the ignition sequence has to be made to run "outside" the sim. Niot a new concept by any means but it does
make the coding much more complex as lots of other factors have to be taken into account. In reality the RR Conway engines light-up at 11-12%n2 with the ignition being held on until about 24%n2.
This has now been correctly modelled. The hot start procedure has also been re-modelled to fit the new code. In the process of coding i noticed that one of the engines tends to run a bit on the hot side
so keep a watchfull eye.

File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Frazier Lake, California (1C9). This is part Eight of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above. If you are familiar with the place when on the ground, due to the limited number of buildings available it probably looks quite different. There is now however, a water strip for float planes which was missing from the default. It is proper FS9 water so you may land on it. Also, a few images from the net show that the ground varies from green grass to bare earth so I have made four .bgl files for the base texture. Note, I am using Flight1 Ground Environment; the default fields will look different. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free. EZ Library is available at http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe. Rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Search under Scenery design.

This is a scenery upgrade for Funny Farm Airport, Brentwood, California (4CA2) (Why Funny Farm?) This is part Nine of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above, so if you are familiar with the place then on the ground it probably looks quite different, due to the limited number of buildings available. This scenery includes the Private lake and dwellings to the southwest of the airstrip proper plus extensive landclass alterations to make the small paddocks in the same area. This is a tough place to land neatly in anything past a C172 in calm weather; the runway is only 20 feet wide! Built using EZ_Scenery, Lee Swordy's AFCAD and SBuilder. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free: EZ Library is available from http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe and rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Search under Scenery design.

Googly scenery for WIOO Pontianak/Supadio, Kalimantan, Indonesia. In Flight Simulator
2004 only a general aviation parking is provided at this important Indonesian domestic
airport, but in the real world it is served over fifteen times
a day by jets and smaller aircraft of Adam Air, Airfast Service, Batavia Air, Deraya
Air Taxi, Indonesia Air Transport, Sriwijaya Air and Tri-MG Intra Asia Airlines. These
scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight
Simulator's limited representation and allow "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and
take off in a realistic manner.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite
imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added
airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing.
You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries,
but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine,
with or without.

Googly scenery for VEPT Patna, India. In Flight Simulator 2004, the airport is
depicted at a pretty waterside location but only a small ramp for general aviation
aircraft is provided. In the real world it is served around six times a day by
Boeing jets on domestic flights by Alliance Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, and
Sahara Airlines. These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other
airport features to Flight Simulator's bland representation and allow "AI" traffic,
to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite
imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added
airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing.

Googly scenery for VAAH Ahmedabad International, India - an enhancement to the airport provided in Flight Simulator 2004 which is incorrect in many respects. These scenery files correct and improve the terminal location, apron, taxiways, buildings and other airport features so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.
The airport is served by aircraft as large as Jumbo Jets from a range of domestic and international Indian airline operators, together with flights from other countries' airlines such as Kuwait Airways and Singapore Airlines.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing.
