This PDF-document gives a deeper view at the flight dynamics model incorporated in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX.
It mainly analyzes the interactions between the parameters in the airplane configuration files (aircraft.cfg and *.air) with focus on forces (lift, drag, side force) and turning moments (pitch, roll, yaw). It describes the relevant parameters and summarizes the findings in text, formulas and tables. It is intended as an addition to the MS SDK. The findings are all based on many flight tests in FS2004 and FSX. The target readers are FDE designers of add-on planes who already have some basic knowledge about the modeling of flight dynamics in MSFS (such as stability derivatives). This is freeware. Please read the document for legal notes and credits.

Korean Air Lines shortened their name and changed their colors from this scheme to the current one after Flight 007 (747) was shot down by military aircraft.These are TEXTURES ONLY!! Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya C-47A-70-DL T-521,C/N 19231 built a Long Beach production plant for the USAAF as 42-100768.This plane entry service with the FAU the 30/07/63,deployed mainly with the Grupo de Aviación No.3 and retired the 20/05/81.Flew also under the matriculation civil CX-BHR.The nose of FAU-521 is preserved at Museum Aeronautico.The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain' and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.
