| China Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
China Airlines had almost completely repainted the fleet by 1998, in these flightplans there is only 1 A300s left in the old livery. China Airlines rushed the repaint of their fleet as the Taiwanese flag on the old colors was not allowed in HKG after the 1997 hand over from England making Hong Kong a Chinese Territory. As such, the old colors were gone by 1998. The 737-400s were still very much active, but were very near the end of their lives with China Airlines retired by 1999 or so. The 737-400s do some regional international routes, and also high frequency KHH-TSA flights and a few TPE-KHH flights. Only 2 747-200s left, mostly flying to HND, and the A300-600R is the backbone of the fleet with a handful of A300B4s still flying. The 747SPs all were at Mandarin by 1998. At this time, and Mandarin aircraft often subbed for China Airlines 747-400s and MD-11s using the "DYNASTY" callsign. I have included an MD-11 in Mandarin colors operating China Airlines flights, I recommend you make a separate aircraft.cfg entry for the Mandarin MD-11 aircraft with the "DYNASTY" callsign and "CAL" parking code for realism. Repaints by Ranmori Scythe for the FAIB 737-400, 747-200, 747-400, FSPX MD-11, and TFS A300B4 and A300-600R are included. As a bonus, textures are also included for the FAIB 737-800(which entered the fleet in 1999) and the old colors on the FAIB 747-400(discontinued by 1997). Feel free to use the 737-400 instead of the 737-800 if you wish. All repaints were done by the very talented Ranmori Scythe and flightplans were done by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. Southern Winds B.737-266Adv LV-YBS"Litoral",C/N 21193-453,ex SU-AYJ,PH-TVN,SU-BBX,5Y-BHV,N193GP and LV-PNI
A old Boeing 737-200Adv with a longer career and now in service with the Argentinian Airline Southern Winds. This operator had started services to Cordoba in the year 1996 with CRJ-200ER; in 2002 were taked in service a serie of Boeing 737-200Adv and in the same year were flew the first International destinations with two B-767-200ER.(Madrid and Miami).
Today Southern Winds flight domestic destinations in Argenta(Cordoba,Bariloche,Comodoro Rivadavia,el Calafate,Iguazú,Jujuy,Mendoza,Neuquen,Resistencia,Rio Gallegos,San Martin de los Andes,etc)and only two International destinations(Madrid and Miami)with his two B.767.
I have included a serie of 30 Flights to the main national destinations,all
served with 737 and the timetable and numbers flights are the rights one of this year 2004.
Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the 737-200Adv type(09-04-04)and now you can fly the plane smooth at 35.000 ft with Mach 0.77.

This folder contains a repaint for the Carenado ATR 42-500 in the colors of Airlinair's F-GPYB. Built in 1996 as a ATR42-500 with serial #480, F-GPYB first flew with Air Littoral, before going to Airlinair in 2004, who leased her to Air France (although she flew in Airlinair colors). At present, the aircraft is with Hop! Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the white textures supplied by Carenado.

This folder contains a repaint for the Fokker F50 by Carenado, in the colors of Amapola Flyg's SE-KTD. It was built in 1988 with MSN 20125, and first went to Maersk Air as OY-MMH. It went to Flying Enterprise in 1999, becoming SE-KTD. In 2011 it was bought by Skyways Airlines, and has been with Amapola since 2004. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the white textures supplied by Carenado.

This sound folder will give the Captain Sim Legendary 707 the more accurate fan whine sound that is characteristic of the JT3D turbo fan engine. It was developed for the original Legendary 707 for FS 2004, and may work in the Captain Sim latest release of the 707 for FSX. I'm not using FSX for various reasons, but if the new 707 has the same sound names found in this one, it should work.

This landclass file covers the Napa/Sonoma wine country. The landclass file was made with my free landclass tool, Landclass Assistant, and is compatible with Flight Simulator 2002, Flight Simulator 2004 and Flight Simulator X. The update adds several small towns (Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga, Sonoma, Glen Ellen) and was matched up against satellite data as well as my own memory of the area (having lived 20+ years in the heart of wine country).
