Military Base Tour - Pacific Rim

File Description:
Military Base Tour – Pacific Rim (MFPR) contains 21 Flight Plans (.PLN) for flights to various military air bases along the Pacific Rim, across the Pacific to CONUS and ending at Andrews AFB/NAF where the Military Flights Series began. It is the continuation of Military Flight Plans (MF) (mf_flights.zip) published in Avsim on 29th March 2004, Military Flight Plans – Europe (MFE) (mfe_flights.zip) published in Avsim on 17th June 2004 and Military Base Tour – West Asia (MFWA) (mfwa_flights.zip) published in Avsim on 6th August 2004 and Military Base Tour – South Asia (MFSA) (mfsa_flights.zip) published in Avsim on 20th November 2004. There are a total of 128 flight plans in this Military Flight Series - Round the World Tour of Military Bases. (See Military Flights Master Itinerary– included in this .zip.) The itinerary contains a list of all the plans in the five uploaded files.) There are Briefing documents for each flight in Microsoft Word (.doc) and Text (.txt). The Flight Plans use the autopilot from takeoff to landing. The speed, altitude, weather, radios and various other controls are the pilot’s responsibility. Many landings are IFR and all are under the control of the autopilot. It is suggested that the pilot set up a separate Folder (“MFPR Flights” for example) and unzip this file there to store the .PLN and Briefing files. The .PLN can then be copied to the “Flight Simulator Files” and used to set up the flight and the Briefings printed and available for quick reference during the flight.

::: Corrected version ::: Representative and accurate charter flight plans for the summer 2005 period, which have been compiled according to the company information for the week of 4th July, 2005. TUI Airlines Belgium (TUB) is the most important charter airline based in Belgium, flying with its own fleet which includes: 1 Fokker 100 (OO-TUF), 3 Boeing 737-400 (OO-TUA, OO-TUB, OO-TUI), 2 Boeing 737-800W (OO-VAC, OO-VAS), and 1 Boeing 767-300ER (OO-TUC). In addition for the summer, TUB is wet leasing two 737's from Futura International Airways, also operating under the "Beauty" callsign. As for all charter company, flights differs from one week to one another but this file comprises its main destinations regularly visited throughout the summer period. Delta Air Freighter L-100 Hercules

File Description:
FS2002/2004 Delta Air Freighter L-100 Hercules Delta Airlines operated some L-100's for freight operations during the late 1960's and early 70's.Most were sold to Southern Air Transport. Since I have not found an L-100 for FS2002/2004 I have used Mike Stones C-130/Paintkit,as it is as close to an L-100 as possible.The L-100's main diffenernce to a standard C-130 was it's length,and nose.Some L-100's had a pointed nose,while others had the standard C-130 style nose cone.Also the L-100's were basicly stretched C-130's. So i bring a bit of Delta History back to life with this repaint. One note,the lettering on the right wing tank appears backwards,there is no fix for this other than to leave the text off the wing tanks completely. The Aircraft.cfg is already edited for the smoke effects.simply place the smoke.fx file in your effects folder. You must download a panel seperately.Sounds are included in this file. RealRandom for PMDG 747

File Description:
This tool for Microsoft Flight Simulator provides a better random failures experience when you fly some aircrafts. Aircraft like PMDG 747, 737, etc has very limited random failure probability that when you need to experience the random failure, you need to manually (READ: intentionally) arm the random failure. This always results in the "anticipated" feeling that the failure has been armed and it's almost sure something wrong is going to happen soon to the aircraft. This "anticipated" feeling is not good and kills the true realism of flying. This tool solves the problem. Now you no longer need to manually (READ: intentionally) arm the random failure by yourself. This tool will arm the failure for you without you even know it. This provides the feeling that anything could still happen to the aircraft (so you still need to watch those instruments, standby with plan B, etc) but without the "anticipated" feeling. Because you'll never know whether it's armed or not.
