Grumman Albatross HU-16 Version 2.1
World War II Livery
Obviously the Albatross is a post war aircraft. Although the original specifications were issued by the Navy in 1944, the Albatross did not enter active service until 1951.
So why did I bother with this repaint? One of my favorite movies is Otto Preminger's 1964 production "In Harm's Way", a great WWII Navy story.
In the movie the Albatross makes a brief appearance as a transport for the central character played by John Wayne. Most people wouldn't notice, but by that time all of the contemporary seaplanes were long retired, so the Albatross was pressed into service. The movie is black and white so I can't verify the paint, but to preserve appearances I chose to use the intermediate blue the Navy used in that period.
So for what it's worth, here's an Albatross done up in the Navy's wartime paint scheme.

A replacement for the stock Islas Desventuradas (San Felix & San Ambrosio) of Chile, comprising new coastline, landclass, mesh and airfield SCFX. The islands are at S26* 20.12' W80* 0.09', 500 miles off the mainland and about the same distance north of Robinson Crusoe Island.

Dassault Mirage 50C (Fuerza Aerea de Chile). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for Marcel Dassault's signature design of military jet history. Going into production in 1959, this aircraft, in late form, is still in service with several air forces to this day. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this wonderful aircraft in the flightsim world. This package represents the Mirage 50C, 50DC, and 50FC in the service of the Fuerza Aerea de Chile; with 14 models and 24 repaints. Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.

LAN Airlines is a group of South American Airlines based in Santiago, Chile and part of LATAM Airlines Group, Latin America's largest Airline holding. LATAM was formed by the takeover by LAN of Brazilian TAM Airlines which was completed on June 22, 2012, although both companies operate with different certificates and liveries. Its headquarters is located in Las Condes, Santiago Province. Contact ground present this new texture pack with 6 detailed repaints Lan Argentina, Lan Chile, Lan Colombia, Lan Ecuador, LanCo and Lan One World only for for the payware Level-D B767-300 with winglets model. LAN CHILE B747-400PW EI-BED (fictional type) livery 1988 | 1990 operations, painstakingly created for PMDG B744 QOTSII v3 and P3Dv4+ simulation.
EI-BED artwork is created with passionate attention to details such as color codes and hand made custom weathered details on the fuselage for bringing visual fidelity to the original aircraft. in both stages of her life: Clean look as 1988's lease start delivery and weathered look as end operations in 1990.

File Description:
LAN Airlines, S.A. was formerly known as LAN Chile and is based Santiago, Chile with its main hub at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCEL) in Santiago. It also operates hubs in Lima, Peru Buenos Aires, Argentina Miami, Florida USA and Quito and Guayaquil Ecuador. LAN Airlines comprises LAN Chile, LAN Argentina, LAN Peru, LAN Ecuador and LAN Express.
I delayed the release of this aircraft after seeing the recent release by Dave Wilkins of high-quality LAN Airlines AI Aircraft using the EvolveAI models. After downloading and installing them myself, I thought it would be a nice complement if the colors of this A320 matched the colors of David's LAN Airlines AI A320's, A319's and A318. I think the result is quite nice and hope you agree.
This full installation package includes the Project Airbus A320 IAE V2 model and air files, a modified FDE (with permission from Peter Binamira of Project Airbus), A320 lighting enhancements and 32-bit textures. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Install.txt for installation details.
