| AeroLyon 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
From 1996-2000, AeroLyon operated a single DC-10-30(with a 2nd being added in 2001) mostly between secondary French cities and the French Caribbean, with the occasional intra-Europe charter. These plans will work for the whole era, but I kept the DC-10 rather busy to ensure that all French cities that saw AeroLyon get used at least once. The aircraft usually makes a stop in France on the way to TNCM/TNCC or TFFF/TFFR then does the same on the way back. The only day the aircraft visits LFPO is Sunday, on the way back from a real charter that took place to LOWW in 1998. Jason King has painted the DC-10 on avsim as: "aim_dc1030_aero_lyon.zip". | CityBird 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". | KLM 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
By 1998, the KLM/Northwest alliance was in full swing, and KLM was serving MSP, DTW, and even MEM daily with it's own metal while Northwest took over from KLM from BOS, IAD, and some other cities. KLM had a vast route network spanning the globe, serving much of Africa and the Middle East with many "tag on" routes onward from Amsterdam. By 1998, KLM was flying the MD-11, 747-200SUD(stretched upper deck), 747-200SUD Combi, 747-300 Combi, 747-400, 747-400 Combi, 767-300ER, 737-300, 737-400, and 6 mainline Fokker 100s which were short lived before going to KLM UK in late 1998 then on to CityHopper. Unfortunately, in the OAG, KLM only specified if a 747 was a combi or not(as in 747=744/742 while 74M can be a combi version of the 742,743, or 744) and did not differentiate between 737-300s and 737-400s. I did my best using what data I had to make the routes realistic, but the aircraft numbers at least are correct except for some extra 767s and 737s that you may remove if you wish. I also had issues making sure the TPE flights were all operated by "KLM Asia" 747s, so I ended up assigning 1 extra 747(I have 5, in real life there were 4) the Asia livery to ensure that you do not see a standard KLM 747 at TPE as they did not visit in real life. You may switch this to a normal 747 if you choose. Repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the AIA Fokker 100 and FAIB 737-300, 737-400, 767-300, 747-200SUD, 747-300, and 747-400 along with flightplans by Chasen Richardson are included. Note that the 747-200SUD uses the 747-300 model. As a Bonus, the KLM Cargo 747-200SUD is also included.Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. File Description:
Avioimpex was a Macedonian scheduled\charter carrier based out of Skopje, but also offering charters from Ohrid. The airline was named Interimpex-Avioimpex but changed it's name in 1999 to a shortened "Avioimpex". The carrier failed in 2002, 10 years after it began flying. File Description:
EasyJet was founded in 1995 with 737-200s based primarily out of London Luton(LTN) providing low fare and often high frequency service to the London area. By 1998, the airline had already transitioned from 737-200s to 737-300s, and had 3 different livery variations, which are all on Avsim for the FAIB 737-300 by Eduardo Villanueva as: "easyjet_737s_90s.zip". One such variation was decals asking to "STOP BA and STOP GO!", in protest to British Airway's low-fare carrier called "Go Fly" which was launched to fight EasyJet. British Airways was unsuccessful, and EasyJet is one of the largest airlines in Europe today, though now with an all Airbus fleet. Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk. File Description:
Ryanair is the infamous Irish low-cost airline that set out to battle Aer Lingus and British Airways on flights between Ireland and the UK. By 1999, the airline had a large fleet of 737-200s with many advertisement special liveries and had accepted the first few 737-800s of the 45 it had initially ordered. Dublin and London-Stansted were the largest hubs at the time. The airline would explode over the next 2 decades and today is one of the largest carriers in Europe.

File Description:
Itapemirim Cargo flew brightly painted 727s across Brazil and up to Mexico from 1991-2000. But from 1997 to 1998, they operated a passenger division with Cessna 208 Caravans based in SBRJ. By the end of 1998, TAM had taken interest in this operation and the flights were merged into TAM Express. | Martinair 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Martinair was Holland's premiere charter outfit for many years before consolidating to an all-cargo operation several years back. In 1998, Martinair had a large scheduled operation to supplement their charter operations with 747-200s, MD-11s, and 767-300s. The 747's only scheduled route was a weekly flight to Cancun(CUN/MMUN), the rest of the 747 flights are charters. All scheduled flights are included as well as charters that I based off information found around the internet and a wide range of destinations are served. Note that the airline was celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1998 and many of the aircraft had special titles. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson.
