File Description:
F4U-NL white WR-9 BuNo 97201 of Capt. Jesse Folmar, USMC, Carrier USS Sicily, Korea. Having been surrounded with MIGs, he decided to fight. After shooting one down, he, himself, was shot down by another MIG. Thanks to Sergio Dolcemascolo (aka DBolt), for his exceptional Improved Stock Model F4U-1C. A new skin, painted as an F4U-5NL over DBolt's F4u-1C model. This Texture Folder comes with new texture bmp's, and new damage bmp's. With this skin, and DBolt's model, you have an unmirrored aircraft. Enjoy!

FG-1 "Lucky Gallon" for DBolt's F4U-1A Model

File Description:
FG-1 "Lucky Gallon" This texture file has been converted to Sergio Dolcemascolo's Improved Stock F4U1a from the repaint by Kevin McCloud "aka" FFF_Barefoot, for Cook Cleland's Corsair "Lucky Gallon". Cook competed in the National Air races in this Corsair. Although it is considered a Corsair and flys with the F4U1A_Corsair sim, it was actually made by Goodyear, and is labelled FG-1. A new skin, painted as an FG-1 Corsair over DBolt's F4U-1A model. Modified texture files, and new damage files. Enjoy!

DouglasTBD-1 Devastator Pre-war "Yellowtail"

File Description:
TBD-1 Devastator Pre-war "YELLOWTAIL." This paint is a modification of Eric Joiner's texture and damage file for the stock TBD-1. The authenticity of this skin is not guaranteed as truly representative of any plane past, or present. I have even added spoked wheels, which were not a part of this aircraft, but they add a little more "eye candy". This texture folder contains new texture and damage files that will give you a completely unmirrored skin. Enjoy!

Douglas TBD-1 Devastator Prewar "Redtail"

File Description:
TBD-1 Devastator Prewar "REDTAIL". This skin depicts a pre-war paint, although it's authenticity is not true to form. I have modified the original t.bmp and d.bmp files to include "right side" texture and damage. This skin is an unmirrored paint of the stock aircraft. Note: spoked wheels have been added, not an original, but "eye candy". Credit to Eric Joiner for his vibrant colors in his stock texture and damage files of which this unmirrored skin was produced. B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2282 for The B24 Guy's OH

File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2282, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane # 4. Pilot: Lt. Everett W. Holstrom, Jr., Co-pilot: LT Lucian N. Youngblood, Navigator: LT Harry C. McCool, Bombardier: SGT Robert J. Stephens, Engineer/Gunner: CPL Bert M. Jordan. This bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Texture, and Damage Files included.
