FS2004 Scenery - Scott Air Force Base (IATA: BLV, ICAO: KBLV, FAA LID: BLV) is a base of the United States Air Force in St. Clair County, Illinois, near Belleville. The base is named after Corporal Frank S. Scott, the first enlisted person to be killed in an aviation crash. The base is operated by the 375th Air Mobility Wing (375 AMW) and is also home to the Air Force Reserve Command's 932d Airlift Wing (932 AW) and the Illinois Air National Guard's 126th Air Refueling Wing (126 ARW), the latter two units being operationally gained by the US Air Force's Air Mobility Command (AMC). This version includes the correct Piper Cub texture, unreported by all but one downloader (why?).
Terrace is fifteen miles east and inland from Prince Rupert, which is 500 miles north of Vancouver up the BC coast. It is at the point in the mountains where two fjords meet, one coming from Prince Rupert and the other from Kitimat. The airport is a couple of miles south of the town and on the south side of the Skeene River. There are two runways, and the main one is a recently-extended 7,500 feet long and lighted 33/15. The second is 5,373 feet of unlit 03/21. The apron has been enlarged to be able to accommodate a Boeing 737 so I have parked an Air Canada jet there, but the pics show the planes that do fly to Terrace, and these are Air Canada and Hawk Air Dash 8-300's. The original aircraft and the textures are down-loadable and and can be used for AI.

This is a repaint of the 727-247 in Western Airlines 727-247 colors with the iconic 'Indian' motif. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Until its acquisition by Delta Air Lines in 1986, Western Airlines was for many years the only survivor of a handful of airlines that pioneered commercial air transportation in the U.S. in the mid-1920s. It was then Known as Western Air Express, it was renamed Western Airlines in April 1954. It was the oldest continuously operating airline in the United States until the amalgamation with Delta in 1987. Its first jet aircraft arrived in 1960 in the form of two Boeing 707-100s. The 707-300s, 727-200s and 737-200s joined the team later in the 1960s. This repaint is of a Western 727-247, circa 1970. Western operated the 727-200 from 1969-1987. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
