RCSS Taipei Songshan Airport

File Description:
Airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RCSS Songshan (also: Sungshan) Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. Songshan is the domestic airport of Taiwan's capital city. It features an enlarged apron, correct parking for all four scheduled carriers, charter operators, GA and military, and jetways for all gates. Please observe altitude restrictions when departing runway 10 and turning south to avoid crashing into Taipei 101, the world's tallest building (at least for now).

OPSD Skardu Airport Pakistan

File Description:
This is an airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default OPSD Airport at Skardu in the heart of the Kashmir (administered by Pakistan). This file adds aprons, three GA gates, and three commercial gates of medium size. As the default does not include any parking, without this file, you will not see any AI traffic parked at OPSD. Skardu is a popular base for trekkers and climbers in the Karakoram range, featuring absolutely stunning scenery. The narrow valley of the Indus river is surrounded by some of the highest mountains on earth. OPSD is served by PIA and private charters from Islamabad (OPRN - see my separate AFCAD). I have inclosed a flightplan for the offical route from OPRN to OPSD in standard MS FS format. Tested with WoAI only.

LTFD - Edremit Korfez Airport

File Description:
Edremit is a district in the coasts of Aegean Sea, linking to Balýkesir province, in the Marmara region of TURKEY. Korfez Airport(LTFD) is located in between Kaz mountains and the gulf of Erdemit. Edremit was founded in BC 1443 with the name of Adramyteion.Here was the most important settlement at that time. Geographical characteristics of Edremit are determined by Kazdaðý (Goose Mountain) which enclose the location in north direction. The South part of Kazdaðý that commands the Gulf is ripped by innumerable deep valleys.The streams sourced from Kazdaðý give life to Edremit Gulf by passing canyons, flowing over waterfalls.

1963 Tijuana Airport Scenery

File Description:
This scenery represents the airport of Tijuana, Mexico, the world's leading tourist attraction, circa 1963. In 1959, Rodriguez Field, as the airport was then known, was served by Transmar de Cortez, Aeronaves de Mexico, and Mexicana. By 1963, the Mexican government had ousted Mexicana from serving Tijuana, and Aeronaves de Mexico had merged with Transmar de Cortez. The Bristol Britannia was the largest equipment serving Rodriguez Field at this time. Aeronaves had a DC-6 service to Los Angeles, making this truly an international airport. For connections to the rest of the world, it meant making the long flight down to Mexico City and then connecting. By the late 1960s Aeronaves de Mexico had DC-8 fanjets in and out of Tijuana.

Caribbean, Montserrat, Blackburne airport

File Description:
Blackburne Airport, also known as W.H. Bramble Airport, was a small international airport near the southwest coast of the island of Montserrat, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. The airport was located near the now-abandoned capital of Plymouth and was destroyed on the 25th of june 1997 by an eruption of the nearby Soufrière Hills volcano. For several years afterwards, Montserrat had been only accessible by helicopters or boats until July 2005 when the new Gerald's Airport was completed on the north end of the island. The approach to Blackburne's runway 15 was rather spectacular and difficult. That's why it was very popular among flightsimmers. Ever since the airport was destroyed end of june 1997 it was left out of subsequent releases of Flight Simulator. This scenery gives you the opportunity to fly over there again. The scenery is provided with some special effects: the volcano Soufrière Hills shows an ash cloud and is erupting from time to time, including sounds, the capital Plymouth is burning at several places caused by debris from the volcano and fires are threatening the airport. Please read the enclosed readme.txt for information on how and when the secial effects show.

Redding Municipal Airport (KRDD)

File Description:
This scenery package updates Redding Municipal Airport in Redding, California (KRDD). Taxiways, runways, parking, including the northeast parking ramp, which was not in the original FSX version, as well as other aspects, were updated. Real world demensions were used through Google Earth. This update also includes placment of objects from the default FSX scenery libraries. Compiled using Airport Design Editor.

Vancouver International Airport CYVR

File Description:
This is an afcad for the FSX default Vancouver International airport. Parking spaces have been added and some enlarged. Airline codes have been added to the parking spots. The vehicle path network has been expanded and improved. An additional afcad to make the Sea Plane Base usable by AI is included. Modifications were made using ADE by Jon Masterson which is now available here on Avsim.

Tracy Municipal Airport (KTCY)

File Description:
This is another addition to my Northern California AFCAD series. This package updates Tracy Muni Airport in California. Parking, aprons, taxiways, runways, and other aspects were updated using real satellite images from Google Earth. Buildings from the default FSX scenery libraries were also used.
