Irish AFCAD's

File Description:
AFCAD2 files for EIIR, EIKN, EISG, EIWT, EIME, EIDL, EIFR. There are no parking codes included with these AFCAD's, although Aer Arann, a regional irish airline flies twin turboprop aircraft into EISG, EIKN, and EIDL. Some larger airlines operate from Knock Airport (EIKN), flying to the UK and operating charter flights to holday destinations during the summer months. EIME, Baldonnell is the main base of the Irish Air Corps. EIFR, Finner Camp is in Bundoran, Co.Donegal and is a base for the Irish Defence Forces and Air Corps. Weston (EIWT) is a small, but growing airfield just outside Dublin. It is the busiest GA airfield in the country, and is currently undergoing the construction of a second runway. Scenery for EISG is required and is available at www.ifsd.ie.

Siem Reap, Cambodia (VDSR)

File Description:
Siem Reap is famous for it's many temples, including Angkor Wat. As such, it has become a regional holiday destination for visitors from Thailand, Singapore, China and Japan, and is served by as many as a dozen different airlines. It's international airport is quite small though, and there is a plan to build a bigger airport over the next few years. In the meantime, I have created the current airport for FS2004. The entire airport was created from photographs which I personally took while visiting the city in 2005, and includes a custom AFCAD, tres, radar, people and vehicle objects. This scenery was created using the FS2004 SDK (which was strictly adhered to), utilizing GMax objects placed using the XML language, and as such it will not work in FS2002.

CYAZ Tofino, B.C.

File Description:
Tofino is a small airport on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Daytime operation only. Right next to the airport are a campground and golf course. This enhancement is based on ground and air photos and is pretty close to the real thing. All default buildings have been replaced. The golf clubhouse (complete with putting green) and the campground office were added. The Budget Rent-A-Car office and North Vancouver Air "terminal building" were custom made by Dave Bedwell. Tofino is a heavily wooded airport and I added trees to simulate that. Many thanks to Vancouver Island resident and flight simmer Irvin McIntyre for the wonderful photos he took for me at Tofino airport. I've included some of them in this zip file so you can see what the real Tofino looks like.

Clear Lake City Metroport

File Description:
Clear Lake City (KCLC) was a small privately-owned field south of Houston and near the Johnson Space Center. It was owned by Metro Airlines, who operated commuter flights between KCLC and Houston Intercontinetal, beginning in 1969. The primary market for Metro was NASA, but as south Houston grew, it also became a choice for others not wishing to make the long drive to Intercontinental. The closure of Ellington AFB and continued growth doomed the Metroport and with the cessation of operations by Metro in the late 1980's, the Metroport closed and demolished. Today, NASA is served by Continental Express, which operates a similar air shuttle service between Intercontinental and Ellington. This is primarily for use with the 1983 Metro Airlines AI flightplans from the Retro AI Traffic Group, but is fully functional.

WIKK Depati Amir, Indonesia

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for WIKK Depati Amir in Indonesia, based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided very limited facilities at this small Indonesian domestic airport, served by about four flights a day by airlines such as Adam Air, Batavia Air and Merpati Nusentara, with jets and smaller craft. This upgrade redresses the subject by supplementing the GA parking with gates so that you, and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off realistically. Whilst this file improves the layout of the airport, it is not a full scenery upgrade and does not attempt correct building locations, landclass, taxiway signs or those stupid over-sized filling stations that Microsoft loves to put in annoying places. Regrettably the satellite data currently available is not of sufficient quality to do so.

Authentic General Electric CF6-80A Sounds For The Boeing 767

File Description:
These Sounds were the results of two months of hard work. Every Small aspect of these engine's characteristics are captured in this soundset. This is the first soundset made exactly for the CF6-80A Engine Commonly found on 767-200s and Older A310-200 aircraft. All of the interior engine sounds were exclusively recorded from the business class cabin of an American Airlines 767-200ER on a flight from JFK to Miami. The exterior sounds were only taken from the finest recordings of the CF6-80A engine. I'd like to furthermore also present to you FS Sound Project's first release, for tech support or if you'd like to comment on these sounds please visit us at www.fssound.cbj.net. Brookhaven Airport, Shirley, New York (KHWV/WSH) V.2

File Description:
Description: Located on the south shore of LI, NY a small but large airport of plenty of people. Civil air patrol (Unites states Airfoce Auxilery). Airshows are there and is part of the great Dowling College Brookhaven Campus. Took me a long time. If you want you can add builings and other spots if you need to make it better. Atleast 150 parking spots all based on real maps and photos. Created using AFCAD2. V2. I added some taxiway and parking spots I left out from the 1st. I also added buildings using RWY 12. They Are not in right spots some of them. I had trouble. If any one knows of an easier program so that I can see them be placed pleas contact me at [email protected]. Thanx

Italian Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb

File Description:
The Spitfire MK V was one of the best known marks, powered by the Merlin 46 of 1440 hp. It served from the Summer of 1941 on, and was the first Spitfire to serve overseas.The trop was modified to operate in dusty and adverse envionments such as North Africa. These modifications extracted a small performance penalty. The Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) received 53 Spitfires Mk V from R.A.F., during August of 1944, but , due to their poor conditions, only 33 of them were used. These planes, assigned to 20 Gruppo of 51 Stormo were based on Galatina Airport (Lecce, Italy). Two of these Spits flown during the last mission of Regia Aeronautica during WW2 (5 May 1945). Textures only for payware 'Sky Unlimited Spitfire Mk V'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

Socata Trinidad 'Martinair Vliegschool'

File Description:
FS2004 and FSX Repaint for Socata Trinidad by Lionheart Creations Ltd. This is a texture pack of the world famous Dutch 'Martinair Vliegschool' paint schemes located at their airschool in Holland. This package is for the new payware Socata Trinidad TB21 GT by Lionheart Creations Ltd. This contains only the exterior bitmaps in 32bit format (high detail resolution). You will need to copy/paste the other texture files from another texture folder into this new folder to complete the package. This can be used on the Socata TB200 GT Tobago as well, but will show gear doors on the underside. Please read the README file for proper installation. FIX - FS9, FSX Panel for Savoia Marchetti SM 79 (sm79_sp1.zip)

File Description:
FIXES PROBLEMS of a PREVIOUS RELEASE. This panel was created from original pictures and it is intended to be a good compromise between historical accuracy (see enclosed .jpg pictures) and the need to concentrate the most frequently used controls in one window. For this reason there are some differencies in gauges location from the VC provided with the aircraft. The most relevant are the addition of a small side panel to host light switches, and the location of the autopilot on the left of the cockpit. Since this SM 79 is one of the most beautiful freeware airplanes available (both graphic and dynamic models wise), to ease her usage a modern days navigation kit is also available. Uses original SM 79 package gauges plus some additional ones (included).
