File Description:
This terrain mesh file should substitute the before one we uploaded with the same name, which presents a small area with some voids that were not detected in our tests.
Please, accept our apologies for this mistake.
It was multi-LOD compiled from 90m SRTM2 source data, reprocessed
with 3DEM to remove voids and spikes, providing a 76.4m (LOD9) horizontal
resolution topography intended for use only in FSX updated with SP1.
FSX_MeSA_G08_Patch (Column G x Row 08) covers the area inside the boundaries:
N = 22º 30' S; S = 28º 7.5' S;
W = 45º 0' W; E = 37º 30' W;

| The Hawaiian Islands - Kauai, Part 1 of 5 |

File Description:
The complete scenery package is 446MB in size. In order to accommodate AvSim's file size requirement, this scenery has been broken into five smaller files. However, all five files -- Hawaii-Kauai-RS-01.zip through Hawaii-Kauai-RS-05.zip -- are necessary for this scenery to work properly. My apologies in advance for the added complexity this involves. "Hawaii-Kauai-RS-01" includes a ReadMe with detailed instructions on how to install this scenery.
Kauai itself is the fourth largest of the main Hawaiian Islands. Also known as the "Garden Isle" due to it's lush tropical foliage, it is located about 105 miles (170 kilometers) west of Oahu and just to the east of tiny Niihau. The east side of Mount Wai'ale'ale is considered to be one of the wettest spots on earth receiving an average annual rainfall of 460 inches (1,200 cm). All that water has carved out deep valleys in the central mountains, the most scenic of which is Waimea Canyon, often referred to as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific". From shoreline cliffs to mountainous heights, to pristine beaches, enjoy exploring this picture postcard perfect landscape.

This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. One repaint represents Resort Airlines' C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N65142 while on lease to Slick Airways from 1 July 1959 till 30 June 1960 for military charter flying (Logair) for the U.S. Goverment. After having returned to Resort Airlines she was placed in open storage at Oakland, CA. The other repaint represents the same aircraft in her British ferry markings she carried in July 1961. Around 1961-62 five ex-Resort C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N65142, which was in a very poor condition after her Logair period of minimal maintenance and repeated overloading, as well as the abuse by the elements during the open air storage close to sea water, was one of these lucky birds.

| High Meadow Farms Airport (9NJ8), NJ |

File Description:
Located 02 miles SW of Hope, New Jersey on 88 acres of land, High Meadow Farms Airport is a private turf strip 1850' in length. Take notice that the traffic pattern for Runway 13 is Right while the pattern for Runway 31 is Left. There is no hard surface runway so have your terrain mesh set as high as possible. There is tie down space available next to the paved area by the other parked aircraft however there are no official services offered for transient aircraft. This is a great airport to depart from to see some nice hilly terrain in northern NJ, it is just a few miles from the Delaware River Water Gap.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 007. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

| Forggensee, v2 Update |

This UPDATE enhances the existing Forggensee Water-Airport(EDAF).
Klaus Jone did a magnificent job in creating this scenery for us flightsimmers, and my enhancements do NOT alter any Scenery Objects by Klaus Jone. The buildings are the same. And the number of AI planes and ships are unchanged.
My enhancements modify the BEHAVIOR of the Ships.
But the floatplane traffic is so superbly programmed that no further modifications are necessary.
Mr. Klaus Jone passed away in May 2009, and it is my intention to preserve Forggensee pretty much as HE designed it. Except for modifying the BEHAVIOR of the AI traffic, to spread it out to cover the entire area of Lake Forggensee. As the screenshots I've included illustrate.
Naturally, these updated files require that Forggensee Part 1 and Part 2 are ALREADY installed in your FS2004. My part here was to perform a few tweaks to make the AI traffic spread out all over Lake Forggensee, and ensure that ALL wake/spray effects are visible. As Klaus Jone stated: "There is some amazing traffic on the lake, have a look and have fun!"

Prepar3D Scenery--John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK), New York (NY), USA. This file updates Ray Smith's KJFK scenery previously uploaded for use with FSX. Ray has given me permission to adapted his scenery for Prepar3Dv2 and replaces file Prepar3d_rwc_kjfk.zip This airport update incorporates two optional files, one version with the Crosswind runways activated and in full operation where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation: assigned parking now updated as per their website including gates for the A380, Terminal 3 demolished, Delta has now moved much of its operations to T4 as well as using T2, the new terminal extension added to T4 concourse B and allocated only for Delta connection, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, the freeway traffic that crosses taxiways A and B now ends before these taxiways, Autogen around the water edges of the airport removed, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation. This project adds and updates all of the airports of Bhutan. Bathpalathang (VQBT) and Gelephu (VQGP) are added, Yongphulla (VQ10) is updated and recoded as VQTY, and Paro (VQPR) is fully updated to reflect current satellite imagery. These are all fully functioning AI airports as well. Special attention was given to the entire Paro Valley, and numerous road/river vectors were updated around Gelephu. Accurate coastlines, lakes, road and river data, as well as corrected landclass are provided based on the latest available satellite imagery. They are optimized to fit seamlessly with FTX Vector's roads/water, but they should be fully functional in all FSX configurations.
GA-encoded flight plans for the Buddha Air/Kathmandu charter are provided to enhance service to Paro. NASA SRTM Global 3 arc second terrain mesh is also included for all of Bhutan. Updates were created or rebuilt in a manner which carefully aligned airport data with current satellite imagery, when available. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.61.5298, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airports.

This VJPL production of the Cessna Citation Sovereign comes fully loaded with all the features one could expect of a 16 million dollar business jet Custom designed to be frame rate friendly using a "Lite" switch that during use in high density scenery hides the passenger cabin in an instant and reduces the load on the computer. Further, this model performs better in the VC than with the 2D panel in view, interior appointments include a high detail passenger cabin with running water in the lavatory and a flushing toilet, all tables extend for use and include wine for the animated passenger, a functional bar, an operational computer and all cabin doors including closet open and close and leather seating, animated copilot, fully click able Virtual Cockpit animated down to the visors and custom cabin lighting, the exterior has all control surfaces and exits animated and thrust reverser's.
PDF documents for this model include performance data, flight instructions and FMC operations manual. My thanks to Glenn Copeland for the computer display, the good Friar and all those who helped with specifications and layout.
