File Description:
An FS2K4 GPS flight and plan by the Ancient Brit and the RTW-K4 Team for the FS2K4 default aircraft (B737-400) and scenery. Depart Isle of Man (EGNS) runway 26, Isle of Man, UK and arrive 1 hour 12 minutes later at Sumburgh (EGPB), runway 33, The Orkneys, UK. The plan is fully flight briefed with Word and text briefings also with kneeboard in-flight briefing. A start-up flight that loads the plan, weather and kneeboard flight briefing is included, also a short practise flight and plan for the non-ILS low visibility crosswind finals.

So far, you have survived Hopping Round the World Adventure Pack 1. Landing the second leg was quite an eye opener about what is in store in this adventure. Some airports seem to disappear right before your eyes while landing. Put that IFR to use or you're done for. Mountains and hilltops to close for comfort? As your adventure continues over the Brazilian landscape you end up in the Amazon. Handle that Boeing 747-400 Cargo as you complete the last leg. More real-world weather and sim surprises for sure. This is a short positioning flight featuring snow and an ILS Finals coming through clouds.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 11

File Description:
Our first stop back in the USA is the great state of Texas. So far our equipment has held up nicely through South America, the Caribbean and Central America. Everything mechanical breaks down once in a while so there is no telling what is in store as we continue our adventure. With some new airplanes added in Pack 12 you will have to learn the nuances of each type and focus on staying in one piece. The weather has been good lately but as always, no telling what is in store. Lots of interesting places to visit as we hop around the USA.

Gloster Javelin - USAF - Hill AFB

File Description:
The world's first twin-engine delta-wing jet fighter, the Gloster Javelin was the RAF's only delta-wing jet fighter, and was the RAF's first missile-armed interceptor. Designed to shoot down incoming Soviet nuclear bombers at high-altitude in any weather, day or night. This is a purely fictional repaint, as the US Air Force has never operated the Javelin. The colours, registration, and squadron markings belong to an F-16C based at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Textures only! Drift Meter Version 2

File Description:
This gauge, for FS2004, updates the drift meter gauge, published on 19 Jan. 2005. It is easier to use, comes with a panel icon, and has improved graphics. It simulates the drift meters used in the 1940's, measuring the drift of an aircraft off its heading due to the wind. In the old days of aviation, navigators had quite a job in windy weather. An advantage of the drift meter is that it has nothing to do with wind direction or aircraft heading. The measured wind drift is used to correct the aircraft heading to maintain course.

It is the headquarters of the U.S. Strategic Command, the Air Force Weather Agency, and the 55th Wing. Its legacy includes the construction of the first two bombers to drop atomic bombs and nearly 30 years as the aerial command center for the U.S. in case of nuclear war during the Cold War.
