The Panavia Tornado is a family of twin-engine combat aircraft, which was jointly developed by the West Germany, United Kingdom and Italy. There are three primary versions of the Tornado, the Tornado IDS (Interdictor/Strike) fighter-bomber, the suppression of enemy air defences Tornado ECR (Electronic Combat/Reconnaissance) and the Tornado F.3 (only United Kingdom) a air fefence variant. It is one of the worlds most sophisticated and capable interdiction and attack aircraft, with a long range, large payload and high survivability.

This photoreal scenery is based on aerial photos grabbed at the resolution of 5 meters per pixel (the same used in FS2004). I worked hardly on these photos to obtain a final product with the real colours and the real positions for all parts of the landscape: if you have any comments or suggests, feel free to email me.
Every single part of this scenery can be used also as a standalone product, so it's not necessary to download all 4 parts of my big scenery.
However i strongly suggest to use all parts in order to obtain a complete photoreal look of this beautiful italian landscape, with famous mountains like Gran Sasso and Maiella.
For best results, use this scenery in association with Pietro Mauri Italymesh2004.
DISCLAIMER
This scenery is released as freeware, so nobody can make money with it.
You cannot include this scenery in any software collection or web site without written permission of author.
You can add objects and autogen (i had no time to work on them).
This software can be used only as FSX/FS2004/FS2002 scenery: no other use is allowed.
I accept absolutely no responsibility for your use of this software.

FS9 scenery for Aviano Airbase of Aviano Italy. Nestled under the picturesque Dolomite mountains in the province of Pordenone is the delightfully quaint and friendly community of Aviano. A peaceful but vibrant town with all the expected amenities of scenery, dining, art, and even the de rigueur old castle. This scenery doesn't even attempt to show this too-beautiful flower of Italy. Instead it tries to provide at least an adequate representation of the Italian Airbase and the American fighters posted there. This package features season photo-ground cover with custom FSDS object modeling of Aviano airbase. Package also features all-new repaints of Henry Tomkiewitczs' F-16 model for the 505th and 555th fighter squadrons by Mark Heimer.

Stormo 61 (consisting of Squadron 212 and 213) provides intermediate and advanced flight training for Italy's Aeronautica Militarethe Scenery features seasonal photo-realistic ground cover as well as new 3D models. Naval Air Station Sigonella, "The Hub of the Med", is a U.S. Navy installation at NATO Base Sigonella and an Italian Air Force base in Sicily, Italy. Although a tenant of the Italian Air Force, NAS Sigonella acts as landlord to more than 40 other U.S. commands and activities. It is located 15 km west and 11 km south of the city of Catania. Sigonella also serves as an Italian base for the 41º Stormo Antisom (41st Antisubmarine Warfare Wing). Among the aircraft that fly from this island base are U.S. Air Force C-130, C-17 and C-5 airlifters as well as KC refueling aircraft and a rotating squadron of forward-deployed U.S. Navy P-3 Orions. The Italian Air Force also fields the venerable Breguet Atlantic patrol aircraft. It is one of the most frequently used stops for U.S. airlift aircraft bound from the continental United States to Southwest Asia and the Indian Ocean. Scenery contains all new 3D models and AI aircraft. Package is stand-alone but additional downloads may be helpful (see docs for details).
